The ITIL Foundation Certification is the first step towards the ITIL Expert certification. ITIL foundation covers the basics of service management, processes and functions within ITIL framework. It is always advisable to take ITIL Training from Accredited Training Organization
It is important that the candidates have a clear understanding of the ITIL qualification structure and the credit points system. To become an ITIL expert a total of 22 credits points are required. Two of these will come from the successful completion of the ITIL Foundation Certificate exam. Fifteen credits will come from the successful completion of courses in either the Intermediate Lifecycle or Capabilities Streams. And the last five points will come from the mandatory capstone course called ITIL ‘Managing Across the Lifecycle’ (MALC).
