I tried watching it a bit and I got really confused after two seconds. You know I saw this tumblr post once about Crazy Steve taking Megan to another town and changing their names to Spencer and Carly. I was freaking out at how it clicked.

Yeah, it's too confusing, I don't understand how people watch it.  Oh, my god, no, that's so creepy.  But they totally have a dad, he was in the very last episode of iCarly, and Spencer's not nearly as insane as Crazy Steve and Carly's not as devious as Megan.
