still caring about internet friends you lost touch with years ago is so embarrassing. yeah i had a deam we met up irl recently. the last time we spoke was maybe 7-8 years ago. i still wear the laces we randomly decided was a sign of our friendship. i dont know what any of your socials are or if youre even active on any. sometimes i see someones art resemble yours and i wonder for hours. do you still go by that name you chose? whenever i see it i wonder if its you. we couldve passed each other in this vastness a thousand times and not have a clue.

Yeah, I have, and same here. Like jesus. I can't imagine how awful it must've been for everyone around them to live in this fractured, manufactured reality that aimed to drive people apart. There's so many statements from people all around twitter right now and I am more and more just. Appaled idk. Goes without saying that I won't be aiming to print my postcanon vsmp comic, still keeping it up, still super proud of it and i'll cherish vsmp and avid's character within it, it's still fiction, but i hope to never hear of those two as ccs again. For anyone curious what the hell is going on, super loud on twitter rn, a lot of quote retweets to the skyblock statement have details of everyones perspectives, attaching legundo's on here because i know people might ask for context

Okay so its the 1800s (and before) weird kids would be left in the woods because they might be "Changelings" and vsmp is in the 1800s

So like with that context what would a parent do if their 5-9 year old already weird kid got dragged back to town by their friend and was COVERED in blood? Claimed to be attacked by a creature and for weeks the wound on his neck just does not close?

Something smells of leaving the kid for the fae.......

Which would mean Avid survived out on his own for years likely and most of where he's from probably didn't want to speak to the cursed kid or even the fae as some may believe

And he has the concept of human behavior that someone who last was actually around people when he was a kid would have (ie: he legit thought the best idea to make people believe vampires were real was running around and putting down signs and screaming, properly socialised people would know that wouldn't work)

He also ONLY mentions his parents in the context of when Elle got him back to town

Hi! It's Quint

First of all I just want to say thank you for enjoying this au. Seeing not only people following it from its first few posts, but people making art, fics, etc... it's remarkable. Really.

This au is not going anywhere, but now that the lineup has been finished, this blog will go on hiatus for a bit. It's important that me and the others involved with this blog - Marv and Bea - focus on irl matters for a bit. It's around that time of year where work starts piling up, so yeah! We'll be doing that for the time being.

Expect things to resume once we're free for the summer, which for me being British... is near the end of June...

Until then, I'll personally be posting more on my main blog! If I do end up making any fnafvs related doodles in the meantime, you'll find them there o7

The Flight Scott being adopted really adds a layer to the bitterness between him and Pyro. Of course an adopted child/community member in a place that literally has a special magical flame that passes knowledge through biological family lines (and based on Pyro's insults specifically towards Scott being adopted, their culture values family lines highly) would feel ultra committed and desperate to help and protect the family and community that took him in. In many ways, Scott is still "proving" that he's a true member of the family and community. Meanwhile, Pyro fled from his responsibilities to his town and people, ones forced upon him through his family line--or from Scott's pov, gifted to him at birth--shunting that inherent acceptance that he always had in the community because he found it stifling. The parallels and foils between them...
