Hi all,
Last night was the best night of my life. I don’t think I’ve ever had something so special. It was so magical. I will never be able to thank Taylor enough for what she has done for me for so many years. Her music has always helped me in ups and downs, boys and friends. Throughout high school I’ve always gone back to her and so many other artists to pull me through it. Now in my senior year, the past few months have been so amazing. I am so grateful for being able to meet the people I’ve been able to meet, and tell them how much I love them. My heart is truly full of love and I want to give it to everyone.
So, last night. Wow. I’m literally a trash bin. Me and my best friends, Mary, Sara, Kenna and Tatum all went to the concert together and got loft together. We were going so crazy and dancing before the concert even started. Taylor basically has brought us all together so the happiness within all of us was apparent. We sang loud to Vance Joy, to most songs we knew. After Vance music was blaring and we all knew Taylor was coming on soon. We were going absolutely crazy, no doubt. We made it on to the big screen and we were so happy. We just knew something good was gonna happen that night. Well I felt very hopeful. Once the show started, I was crying and just going crazy. I was so happy in that moment, it’s my senior year with all my best friends, singing Taylor as loud as we could. We were all living in the moment and having so much fun.
When IKYWT came on, this is the best moment I’ve ever had. We were all singing and dancing as usual and I was in my own world and all a sudden I feel my friend Kenna pull me aside and I see Andrea. I screamed some swear words, I was like WHATS GOING ON. I huddle in as close as I could and I hear Andrea say “I think you guys are perfect for loft 89.” That’s all I heard, she and my friends previously were having a conversation with her but I couldn’t really hear it. Once we got our wristbands we all huddled together in a group hug and start crying. I start swearing again, I literally was like “I’m meeting my f*cking queen, my best friend with my best friends.” I got my phone out and texted Milan right away. If you guys don’t know Milan, she is my soul sis. She has always been there for me, we grew very close because of Taylor and 1D. She and I met two months ago at 5sos and we are just two peas in a pod. I just had to tell her right away. Then later told everyone through social media and texting. ANYWAY, through out the show, there were so many tears, screaming and singing lyrics back to Taylor. During fifteen I had a beautiful moment with all my best friends. We were all holding each other crying and just so happy everything was happening. Fifteen means a lot to me in many ways. It just was ironic, because I met all those girls when I was 15 at that same arena, seeing Ed. We all held each other close, fifteen was an age where I was starting to find myself and my real friends. That song was very true to me and hit close to home.
When the show ended, we ran to the section for loft. We were all filled with anxiousness and happiness all in one. We were all very hungry and dying of thirst. We sit down and learn the rules of loft and sign in and what not. We get led to the back, and it was so surreal. I was holding Tatum’s hand, I was so nervous. I was just thinking: What on earth do I say to Taylor, I have so much to say and so do my friends so I have to keep it short and sweet. We reach the promise land. Loft fricking 89!!!! I was smiling so big and I couldn’t handle it. My legs felt like limp noodles. I finally got some water and me and my friends went in the photo booth and just explored. Loft 89 was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. We took so many pictures and had so many laughs together. Soon enough we were told by the wonderful Stephanie (she runs loft), to get into spots because Taylor was right around the corner. When she came in the room, I smiled so big. My happiness in that moment could probably wrap around the world a billion times. My heart was so full, I couldn’t contain it. She made her rounds and we were the third group in. As soon as she came up to us she had the biggest smile on her face. She hugged Tatum, me, Sara, Mary and Kenna. Taylor was like “you guys are a squad!” And we all were like WHAT!!! Because we call ourselves that and we have for like ever. Everyone had a special moment with Taylor and hugged her tight.
So, my moment with Taylor…. I really can’t think straight. I don’t remember word for word but I am gonna try and tell everyone what happened. It was such a special moment for me and I got to tell her everything I’ve wanted to say. I was like “I love you so much, I really don’t know what to say. I love you.” And she was like “I love you!” And had the biggest smile. She says, “tell me everything you want as I sign everything.” So I finally had my moment to shine. I said “I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me.” And along the lines of thank you for bringing me towards my friends, and our love for you and music. I can’t remember word for word. Then I said, “thank you so much for clean. That song means a lot to me.” She said, “thank you. I’m so glad you love it.” Then I told her why I love clean and how it’s helped me through certain struggles I’ve had. She signed my Polaroid and continued on to my friends in which they all had a beautiful moment with Taylor. Once we all had our moment we all talked to her and asked her questions, talked about good morning America, just little things. Then she was like “for our picture we should be like we should be best friends.” She then brought us into a group hug and I felt so good. All my best friends. It was so beautiful. She is so beautiful inside and out. Truly.
Through out the night we talked to Andrea, Taylor’s back up singers, Kamilah was our sunshine, we created a special bond with her about makeup, Kendrick Lamar and many more things. Her and Andrea were so great to us. We had the best conversations with everyone last night.
So another big THANK YOU to taylorswift ❤️ You have helped me and so many others with your music and you just being you. You are so genuine and down to earth. You make me very happy and I can’t wait to watch you grow in this music industry and as a wonderful person. I love you with everything I have. You are a queen, you make me smile so much.
