the recurrent discussion in this fandom every time taylor drops a new album, about how much better or worse is the previous one, gets more tiring and sad every era. why can't we enjoy every album for what it is, instead of this excruciating endless comparison.

it's natural that everyone has a favourite album, song, producer... it'd be kinder to focus on what we love instead.

as taylor has been drawing away more and more from social media some fans have got crueler. although we know she still sees more than we know. regardless, i believe it'd be nice to respect everyone's preferences instead of trying to crush them into pieces. it'd also be common curtesy and respectful of the love we have for taylor as an artist.

it's just sad to see her own fans criticising her work in such heartless manner.
