Little Dragon - Draco Malfoy Fanfic
this is on wattpad under @niftyniv!! ā¤ļø
Normally, anyone in or associated with the house of Slytherin is considered bad luck or even evil. Well, I happen to think that's a load of bullshit. I don't think it's cool to generalize a whole group of people for any reason at all. I like to think I'm not all that bad. Sure, Slytherins can be dicks, but that doesn't mean I'm the dark lord's bitch in hiding.
My name is Kayda Gryffon. My first name means little dragon. Because of this, I always felt connected to the dragon. Everytime I see one, something inside of me sparks. I can feel it inside of me, ready to unleash. I don't know what it means, but I don't really talk about it. My mother carved me a dragon necklace out of some wood, and gave it to me when I was 6. She said it was a represention of who I am and where I come from. I haven't taken it off since. It humbles me.
I get along with people from all of the houses. I try not to be so mean if I don't have to be. It's unnecessary. Because I try to be as kind as I can be, some people in my house spite me. One of them being the infamous Draco Malfoy.
"How could you even stand talking to those bloody Gryffindors, like Longbottom? They're a bunch of weirdos." Draco snarled from behind me as I parted ways with Neville. We had just gotten out of Herbology, and I was on my way to potions class.
"Knock it off, Malfoy. Why do you even care?" I replied coldly, turning to face the smirking boy. I rolled my eyes, "When are you gonna stop obsessing over what I do? We're not even friends."
Draco scoffed, wide eyed and quickly replied, "Obsessed with you? Gryffon, do you have any idea what words just came out of your bloody mouth?" He laughed in disbelief. I huffed a breath of annoyance and began to walk to potions, Draco following close behind. "You wish I was obsessed with you. Anyone would be mad to even look at you like that." I turned around to look at him, my hand already reaching for the door.
"Like what? You mean the way you look at me?" I said slyly, a smirk on my face as I watched Draco's face boil with frustration.
Before he could finish, I slammed the door in his face. Leaving him in a state of annoyance and frustration.
