Now that 2014 is coming to an end, the BuyBitcoin.ph Team would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your trust in our service and continued loyalty since we launched as the first Bitcoin exchange in the Philippines back in January of this year.

We wish you and yours a peaceful and joyous Christmas and a most prosperous New Year.  We are very thankful for your business, and look forward to serving you again in the future.  BuyBitcoin.ph. will be operating on limited hours from December 24, 2014 to January 2, 2015.  This means the following:

Sell Orders: You will receive a price lock-in however the payouts to your bank account will be subject to holiday hours for that particular bank.  

Buy Orders: As soon as we receive your payment, your Bitcoin will be paid out within 24 hours.

We will be back up operating at full capacity come January 2, 2015. For urgent issues, feel free to contact [email protected] and we will do our best to respond immediately.

I’m Sam Kaddoura, CEO and Co-Founder of BuyBitcoin.ph, the Philippines’ first and longest running Bitcoin exchange, offering quick, easy, and secure buying and selling of Bitcoin.

Improved Website Rollout

We’re thrilled to rollout our new and improved website. Along with constant incremental improvements, we’ve also streamlined the user experience with our Facebook single-sign-in and traditional log-in. This new feature gives our developers a platform allowing them to add greater functionality for our clients as we move forward, such as transaction history and order tracking, easily accessible from any device.  Expect more features to be introduced in the weeks to come!

We are strong believers that Bitcoin will revolutionize the financial landscape in the Philippines. Along with myself, BuyBitcoin.ph was founded by Lasse Olesen, James Florentino, and Daniel Walton.  To this day, we continue to strive in offering a seamless user-friendly experience that is non-intimidating to the Bitcoin beginner.

The essence of Bitcoin through its decentralized design makes money transcend physical location: be anywhere, pay for anything, give to anyone in the world, and receive from anyone in the world, all without ever having to pay to do this.
