         “Don’ be stubborn.” {/Regardless, she’s still looking. Nicole is allowed to show him love and be stern with him at the same time. With him still in her arms, she finds a Pinap tree and walks over to pick some for him.} “–Will these do?”

       well... a pinap is definitely no oran --- but at least it’ll be something to curb his appetite until nicole actually does let him eat. grabbing a couple berries with his vines, bulba scarfs one down before placing another on her head. if he’s gonna eat, she should too, right? or... maybe he was trying too hard to be nice. “bul. bulba. ”

         “Yeah, there’s a bunch o’ ‘em. Ain’ they pretty?” {/The tiny pats to her arm did nothing but bring a smile to her face. It was cute to see how excited he was to look at a bunch of lights that were thousands of miles away. He wouldn’t have to worry about hiding or foraging while he was with her.} “Which one is yer favori’e?”

        from this view, it’s hard to say which star is his favorite --- they all look alike! wide eyes searched, scanning each little speck before settling on the north star, seeing as though it shines the brightest. “ bulba! bul --- ” claw reaches for that one, nails flexing as if he could grab it right out of the air.

Carefully carries Bulbasaur into her garden and places him down among the vegetables. "Here! I saw you looking at them. You're hungry, right? You can have some."

      part of him is surprised she’s capable of even picking him up in the first place — even though he isn’t very big. he hums his delight as she carries him through the garden to place within vicinity of food — and he’s thankful for it! vines extend to pat her on the head, tugging gently at her pigtails. “ bulba! bul – bulbasaur! ” the pokemon chimes his thanks, eagerly pulling up the first thing he comes in contact with. thankfully he shows some restraint, stopping there before uprooting the entire garden. after all, why would he ruin all her hard work? 

      for once he even offers her some of his half eaten portion. “ bul — bulba! ”

        {/It seems her minor scare tactic worked. He gave up, and gave her that pat on her cheek which lets her know he’s going to comply with her demands. In that sense, she kisses the top of his head before starting to scout around. If he was truly hungry, she would find something quick for him to snack on so he didn’t eat their main supply.}

        he’s always hungry! it’s rare there’s a time he’s not. head shakes when she kisses it, huffing an indignant ‘ bulba! ’ at her antics. how dare she show love when she so blatantly denied him access to her backpack! either way, the pokemon aids her by sniffing around - gaze training on anything that might pique his interest. he must be fed, he’s a growing bulba!

         “..Cheeky lil’ guy..well, fine. Ya wanna si’ wimmie an’ look a’ tha stars?” {/Taking a seat in the grass, she cradles the Bulbasaur in her arms and positions him so he can look up.} “There’s a buncha ‘em.”

        stars? bulba’s always been too busy foraging or hiding away from others to really pay attention to the sky... after all, what could possibly be up there other than flying pokemon trying to divebomb him? claws rest gently against her arms, fiery red eyes turning skyward. “ bulba -- bulbasaur! ” he pats her arm for good measure. look at all the stars!!

         “Ya know, yer gonna ea’ all my food. An’ then there’s gonna be none lef’ fer ya later.” {/Bulbasaur was not subtle at all. She could feel the flap of her backpack moving when he stuck his vines inside. Regardless, if he’s not going to listen, she’s going to use mild scare tactics. Hopefully he’ll listen.}

        vines pause in their pursuit for a snack. how could she say such a blasphemous thing! no food later? she could just pick up more and then ta da, food for later --- that’s just the way things should be done. slowly vines retract and body shifts with disappointment. he wants to eat now though; one vine does come up to pat her on the cheek. fine ... he’ll be a good bulba.

         “I guess…good ta see ya too, Fussy. Wha’ brings ya topside? Did ya miss me ‘er somethin’?”

       does he need a reason to see his favorite human ? maybe. it’s food love .

         “–All my food is stored in my bag, Fussy. Yer no’ gettin’ any until dinner time.” {/Of course there was stuff to eat. Nicole always carried food on her. However, if she just fed Fussy whenever he wanted to eat, there would simply be none left for the rest of the day! And foraging during the night was a nightmare.}

      well now that’s just no fun at all. the pokemon huffs, settling into her arms and pouts. how was he supposed to eat if all her food was elsewhere! vines were quick to creep along to dig into foretold bag, bulba muttering under his breath with intent to get what he was after anyway. “ bul -- bulbasaur. ” take that. he’ll do what he wants.

         “–Wh-wha’ are ya screamin’ fer?!”

      he always has to scream, it’s simply the bulba way. “ bulba ! ”

                                  BULBASAUR, THE SEED POKÉMON.

                   it  bears  the seed of a plant on its back from birth. the seed                   slowly  develops.  researchers are unsure whether to classify                   bulbasaur as a plant or animal. bulbasaur are extremely calm                                  and very difficult to capture in the wild.

“Whoa!” Stumbling forward when she feels a pressure on her back, she turns to look and see it’s that wild Bulbasaur from before!

“–Hi..?”

Would her Bulbasaur get jealous if she held this one? Hopefully not. Carefully, she reaches around to peel the plant pokémon off of her back and cradle him in her arms.

“And how are you today?”

     he’s happy to see this girl, hence why he felt the need to tackle her. so when she went to hold him, he let her pull him off his back.

          “ bulba! ”

     he reaches up to pat her cheek with the pad of his foot --- careful of the claws at the end. he enjoys these visits, therefore he wriggles some, smiling widely. if anything, he was doing just fine! hungry as usual, but what’s new.

           “ bul --- bulbasaur! ”

     time to run up to the nearest person aaaaand tackle! he wants to be held and he’s not taking no for an answer.

“…I swear sometimes i’ feels like yer trainin’ me.” {/She’s getting affectionate pets as her reward when she does what he wants her to do, he feeds her, and they’re traveling companions…wait. How did this get flipped around?! Nicole was supposed to be the one training him! Even though neither of them owned each other, they were friends! And through mutual agreement they were supposed to be working together. Not Nicole doing more than half the work.}

     certainly she was just saying that --- those apples were mainly for him, anyway. either way, he was content to be carried since he didn’t really have the energy to, and with how fast she walked the poor pokemon just couldn’t keep up! a shame, honest. he shifts every now and then to get resituated, red-eyed gaze wandering up to his human every so often. they were so handy! he had a place to stay warm, keep his food, be carried...  yeah, this wasn’t so bad. he chimed happily at her words, wriggling a bit. okay so maybe he was. just a little.
