In case you wanna come visit and catch up on things?" the letter looked rather old, with several stamps covering the envelope, an obvious sign that it got lost in over the years.

Audrey read the letter slowly, biting her lip as her eyes scanned over the words. The paper was weathered and frayed with time, everything about the letter screamed you should’ve gotten this sooner. Even without a signature, she could guess who had written it. The handwriting was familiar to her, and the contents of the letter made it obvious enough.

But how can I even contact him now? She wondered. Even back when they were in regular contact, it was usually him that ended up coming to her. If she didn’t know how to contact him back then, she surely didn’t know now. “This is a problem.” She sighed to herself, twirling at her hair absentmindedly. “Why’d it have to turn up so late?”

As she tried to think of what to do next, she couldn’t help but let her thoughts drift back to the past. Fooling around with Raith, like an infatuated high schooler. The thought embarrassed her enough to make her blush. Well, now I’m much more composed. Besides, if I had a crush back then, I’m over it now...
