If you're going to read this and assume I would give you my past life and even my name, you might as well stop reading. My fake name is Lester and my history is unknown. Ever since I killed someone with the fling of a baseball, I had figured what my way of murdering was. Anything can be a weapon; from a pencil to a playing card. Now, do you wish to play a game with me?

The succubus raised her index finger to her rouge lips, “Hush—this confrontation of ours shall be kept a secret, remember you know nothing of me.” She remarked with mockery, for her amusement of course. She knew he was not the least bit frightened of her presence. After all, she assumed he had an arcane agenda. Selene was not taken aback by the Bullseye scar on his forehead, the succubus had encountered far worse grotesque things. She was perceptive—the proper posture became further of her actions as she dropped her hand from her pistol, resting it on her hip. Her sapphire irises scoped the stranger as his fingers toyed with the paperclip. “So, you’re here on orders. I’m relieved to know that it isn’t me you’re hunting… ” She trailed off, concealing a laugh behind her hand. “You’re so villainess you must refer to yourself as one ? Very cute. I’m not petrified—if that’s what you were hoping for.”

His eyes glanced to the ceiling as his tongue flicked in his mouth. She obviously didn't fully take his words in, and it was understandable. This world never seemed to get their mind around the fact that heroes and villains that were seen in comic books were based on the true stories. He turned back to the girl, cracking his neck slightly.

"I wasn't expecting you to. And you should know that your spiky teeth and-" Lester motioned his fingers as though they were quotations. "Intimidating eyes don't frighten me, either. I've seen way worse pupils than yours, girl. Some of them not even a part of this fuckin' pathetic world." Lester moved closer to her and leant his shoulders forward, his head slightly tilted in so he was forcing her to look deep in his eyes. "Listen. We're strangers, we got on the wrong foot. Plus, we've both got missions to do, people need to be killed. "

His body straightened to give more space between them. While placing his hands in his pockets, he continued to stare at her. "So.. Are we gon' stop this stupid act, or are we gon' continue this stupid act?"

"Just average," he hummed softly, tossing the dart with a quick little flick that get’s him in the triple ring under 18. "Win some, lose some, no prodigy by any means." Quietly, he assessed the board before aiming again, able to simultaneously talk. 

"I used to play with my Dad a lot."

"Is that what you follow by?" The noise from a couple behind them was irritating Lester, it was as though he couldn't enjoy one night at the bar. Seeing as the other was too busy concentrating on the dartboard, Lester took a peanut from the small bowl on the table. With a quick flick of his fingers, the peanut swiftly lodged straight into the loud-speaking person's throat, causing their head to drop onto the counter. 

Nobody saw it was him, the best thing about his skills. As an act, Lester looked over at the person whom looked as though they were passed out. "Pft- Drunk'ed." He turned back to watch the male's darting skills. "Your dad taught you pretty well."

"If only you knew," he said under his breath before kicking imaginary rocks with his foot, biting back a laugh. A breeze blew pass them, bringing up his hand to run his fingers through his hair. He hated the breeze when it’s already so freaking cold up here despite it being Summer where it is too hot for mere humans. Hearing the introduction from the other, he bobbed his head in acknowledgement; not like he didn’t know who the other was but he doesn’t know that. "Alastair. Am I interrupting anything?"

He fought back his amusement of his fake name before shrugging with a shake of his head. "Not at all, jus' searchin' for an ol' friend." 

Gotcha. Lester calmly took a long, straightened paperclip from his top pocket, almost forgetting that he was being observed. He craned his head up casually with a small grin. "Hey, Alastair, wanna see a show?" Lester aimed the paperclip to the target as though he was preparing to throw a dart to a board. "It'll be like watchin' a bunch of headless chickens."

"Now I hope you’re referring to my character and not physically," he joked but he knew entirely well what the other meant. Alastair moved closer to the edge, glancing down as the people looked like mere ants from the height they’re up on. "Up, down. Does it matter really?"

Lester's lips pursed as he shook his head, his eyes glancing from the stranger to the many moving dots on the ground. "Nah, not that cruel."

Although he liked the casual conversation with the guy, he had a job to do. His target could be in his sight at any second, all he needed was a glance of them. Acting normal in order to hide his mission, he continued to look down. "The name's Richard Washer, some people shorten m'first name." He lifted his head back up, taking a drag from his smirked lips as he looked at the male.

The Irishman heard the other's words as he took another shot. "Tell me about it." His hand shot another dart at the board, getting another bullseye without even looking. "They're talkin' so fuckin' loud, over there."

“You have nothing better to do then ?” The syllables of Selene’s words rolled off her tongue, slurred with a French accent. She was evoked with an evasive response to his question. “Why am I here ? Perhaps I was finding my way out of this place—now that you’ve ruined my plans." She muttered under her breath, her fingers trailing to her gun, her sapphire hues side-glanced. The angels she hunted could appear at any given moment.

She proceeded toward the male, sauntering, “You’re obviously not from this country, what brought you here ?”

With a small scoff, he placed the paperclip in his hands, messing around with the metal. "You're not very welcoming, are y'."

Lester's upper body tilted to the side, his eyes locked onto the gun that was almost hidden in her clothing. "Oh. I've ruined your plans?" His questions sounded stupid, but asking the shortest of questions can bring the most descriptive answers in his mind. The question she gave him, however, could easily have been answered. 

"What brought me here.. Mainly my boss." Kingpin, whom was scary to others, was his boss. He wasn't as intimidated, seeing as he easily killed his security with a simple ball-point pen.

"Y'see.." The paperclip was now straightened in one of his hands. Lester ran his free fingers through his fringe, revealing his Bullseye scar to hopefully give her the idea that he wasn't the male to mess with.  "..I'm an assassin, a villain, to be more specific. And by the looks of your gun, you're no good girl either."

his cheek is flat against his hand, and it’s clear to see an indelible amber haze slowly descending over him; he’s getting mildly fidgety, his free hand won’t quite stay still. the joints jar uncomfortably and every so often he stretches coiled fingers back like a neurotic tic. empty hands are troublesome for him;  children have safety blankets and teddy bears, Kikwang has cold, dimpled glasses bleeding brown eyes and awful intentions. he appears uncharacteristically thoughtful which means trouble is brewing for him and anyone within the vicinity. 

it doesn’t take long. one alarm, then two and then a third. police sirens sound In the distance. he tries to look like he’s  minding his business from his position crouched on the sidewalk. one witness. but what can they prove?

Another night, another hell-raising at a bar. The streets were lit up by the moonlight in the nightsky, although he was more distracted by the money in his hand than the dark sidewalk. He placed the bundle of cash in his pocket before leaning on the graffiti-filled brick wall, quite proud at how he darted so many cards in a short amount of time.

Bullseye's daydreaming was suddenly put to a halt as he heard the many sirens surrounding the area around him. His eyebrow was raised slightly; he knew he caused havoc, but surely he lost the idiots within seconds. Lester then realised that the dark figure crouching next to him may have been the one the sirens were searching for, seeing as they were the only two there. As the sirens were moving closer, the Irishman pointed using his thumb to where the red and blue lights were seen, a grin curving on the side of his lips.

"D'you need some help with this shit?"

That comment evoked a smile — a brief glance at the floor with silently shaking shoulders. Kei loosened his hand, getting the wrist nice and floppy before tossing a dart. “I guess… Someone has to lose.”

"That's how the game works." He scoffed before taking a drink from the beer on the table. "Unless I've missed somethin'."  Lester leant back in his seat, looking around the almost deserted bar as he stretched his fingers back. "So what're you like with Darts? Good, bad?"
