"I would be having fun with my new boyfriend, if he were in town. Choose this weekend of all weekends to go on a trip back home. Just stuck in Austin with all you assholes." God damnit. He fucked up, he fucked up big time. Why couldn’t he have just waited for Michael?

Ouch. That actually hurt. Michael cared about things, actually Michael cared about things more than he ever cared to admit. "Right. I'm oh so heartless, thanks Geoff. I think you made your statement clear." It hurt. It hurt a lot to hear it come from the person he cared about most, but he just pretended to brush it aside like always with a poker face and a comment of indifference.  "Sucks to be you then." That was all that he had to say on the matter. He didn't want to talk about Geoff's new boyfriend.
