Pirata & Capitano But It’s Just Pirata Being Pissed Off
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2026!!!🎉🥳
Evil Pirata💀 not my AU:/
Hii 🌻
A random question: what happened to the pirate's father (and what was his relationship with the Pink Sparrow?)
And what about the captain's mother? What happened to her and how did she react when she found out about her husband's death?
Hi! I love answering your questions.
Pirata’s father was one of Pink Sparrow’s crew mates, a man named Soriano whom she’d known since childhood. When Pink Sparrow found out she was pregnant, she didn’t want the shame that befell on her to impact her friend as well. He was well on his way to becoming a captain and Pink Sparrow didn’t want him to hold back just to take care of a child. Besides, Pink Sparrow was already planning to give Pirata away, so there was no point in getting attached. By the time Soriano did find out, the baby was already gone. He resented Pink Sparrow for years because he missed the opportunity to connect with his child.
Soranio met Pirata a couple of times as a teenager at the Pirate Ball, and they got along quite well because he was one of the few pirates who would treat her with respect (he even taught her the best way to make sailor’s knots, which came in handy for everyday use) but didn’t know how to approach the subject with her. Eventually, once Pirata was an adult, he managed to tell her at a celebration. The news definitely ignited a childhood grievances; she had always assumed her father abandoned her on purpose. But when Soranio tells his side of the story, Pirata is open to having a civil relationship with him. They can’t fix the past, and Pirata isn’t looking for a father figure any time soon, but they can at least try to make the present their own.
As for Capitano’s mother, she died shortly after giving birth to her son. Ironically enough, it was Murana and her brother who introduced her to Capitano’s father. Murana, Murono and Charles were great friends, but Murana also had a friend named Ponente she became acquainted with during her novice pirate days. One evening, Ponente finished her training with the Aviator Association and took (forced) an antisocial Murana out to Inky’s to celebrate. It just so happened that Murono and Charles had stopped by Inky’s during a delivery route, and Murana introduced them to Ponente as, “My imbecile of a brother and his friend with the horrid hairdo.”
Ponente and Charles started talking about the best way to keep a seaplane engine running, and the rest is history. Two years after they became a couple, Ponente got pregnant with Capitano, and faced a lot of complications during the next nine months, to the point where she was bedridden six weeks before her son was born. She passed away soon after the delivery due to postpartum hemorrhage.
Funnily enough, Murono and his sister came around frequently to help Charles care for the infant. Capitano found a couple of photos in the wreck of the Fireblade many years later with the four of them. He and Murana got along really well when he was little, which made him resent her all the more when she became a captain and became a lot more cruel.
Still, sometimes it saddens Capitano to think about his mother because he never got to know her, and most of the people that were acquainted with her have passed.
does pirata have a mother?
