I answered this in another post, so I'll just summarize what I said in them.

In my AU, it was Pink Sparrow who gave her up. Her father didn't even know he had a child for quite sometime, and by the time he did, Pirata was already gone.

Pink Sparrow is still around, sailing her own, albeit smaller, ship with her crew around the Seven Seas. Pirata just doesn't talk to her. Doesn't want to be around her, doesn't want to even think about her. They encounter each other at official gatherings, but Pirata makes it a point to pretend that Pink Sparrow doesn't exist.
