The mattress halted once he took a second to look into her puppy eyes, his upper-body lifting itself up to give into her wishes. “Alright, alright. I’ll get up.” He laughed, tossing his legs over the side of the bed to meet the wooden floor. He was by no means awake yet, but he knew by the time he got outside that he would be ready.
Getting prepared to go out and do anything was not a complicated task for the Iop, his cape being the only thing he never slept in. After grabbing said article, the ginger made his way into the bathroom to wash his face, his eyes occasionally looking down at the girl who seemed to trail behind him. Placing his hands into the water and splashing the water up onto his face, he spoke to his new pupil. “We’re gonna have to get you comfortable with a weapon first.”
Elely shadowed her father’s every move as he got up, staring up at him and gripping at the edge of the sink, standing on her tiptoes to rest her chin on the counter as she stared up at him. Adults woke up so slowly, but she knew there was no point in rushing him.
She did need a weapon, didn’t she? Well if that was the case, then- “Ooh! Ooh! I want Rubi!” she said, bouncing on her tiptoes as she beamed up at him.
