Hey guys I haven’t been on tumblr for like 2 years but I had to log back in today because I have to say how sad I am and how we’re all feeling the same and its ok to feel like you’ve lost a family member. I started hosting a radio show at the station at my school MAINZ last week. Going to be on there today again in about 5 hours (1pm NZ time).

Its rock themed but today I’m focusing on classic rock, so I’ll be playing Fleetwood Mac, Bowie, the Stones and more! Next week will be a grunge special so let me know if you have any requests!

Its been like 6 months since I logged into this account wow.

In news I am now trying my hand at being a front(woman) even though I have a fear of singing. Just channeling my inner Brody haha

Music

I remember the day I started writing songs, it was after I got back from seeing Pearl Jam in 2009, my first concert. I was so inspired and I knew music would be life from then on. I was always to scared to play music with others or share my songs so I was a shy unknown musician for 8 years. 

Last year I did a music course, I was still scared to show my songs, but in the last performance I decided to write a song and have the band perform it. 

My song The Omen is inspired by a lot of things in my life. None of the music I’ve made so far would have happened without bands like Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stone Age, Brody Dalle, Soundgarden and many more.

Band practice!

HEY guys

Been a while since I posted, been busy getting my new band sorted!

We’re a mix of all the bands I love (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, QOTSA) plus some Jack White influence, a bit of Tom Petty and more! It would mean A LOT to mean if you could follow our page and reblog this post! I post band stuff but also photos of bands I like :)

Joe Walsh from the Eagles came to my music school today to talk to us and play some songs, crazy to get a big international musician like him in our school! It was so awesome!

Highlight of seeing Soundgarden was seeing them play Birth Ritual!!! SO AMAZING. Also when Matt messed up and played something wrong and after the song Kim threw a pick at his face and Matt pretended to cry, it was hilarious.

So long since I posted!

I've seen Soundgarden, Foo Fighters and Slash live all in the last couple of weeks, so  I'm pretty overwhelmed by it! Study is getting crazzzzy right now at my course ahh, and I'm looking for a new place to live!

Its been soo long since I've posted on here, super busy doing music stuff, life is the best. In my course band and just joined another band, my 21st birthday is soon (PARTYYY), Foo Fighters are coming to NZ in february, OH and I'm dating a bass player !
