"Yes, I agree, we need to spend time with friends also, Bridgette and Brooke would hate me if I stopped hanging out with them too." Adam stated, knowing that he wanted to spend more time with Brooke and Bridgette, they were such great company and they already had some great memories. “Well maybe we might, but…” Adam said as he kissed her cheek lightly. Adam was just holding Hendrix, he liked doing that. That was one of his favourite bits of watching a movie with a girlfriend, what was happening right now.

As the movie was playing, they were sitting in a comfortable silence. Their fingers were intertwined and Hendrix's other fingers were absentmindedly drumming up and down Adam's arms. It was...comfortable, to say the least. It was these lovely moments that made relationships worth it, the comfortable silences where you're just taking in the others presence, content to just be there. When her favorite part had passed, Hendrix grinned before lifting herself up and straddling Adam's waist. "Watch enough?" she asked, leaning in and placing a soft kiss on his lips before trailing the kisses down his jaw.

Hyatt stood slowly from her worn out leather couch, stretching her arms into the air, feeling the bones in her back realign with a comfortable crack. A smug smirk pulled at the girl’s lips, almost triumphant, a sadistic way of operating, but this only further proved her point that love is only a mix of emotions— pain, sorrow, lust, longing. It mixes together in a lovely chaos, and can make a person feel crazy. An added bit of happiness can throw off this whole reaction, though, acting as a catalyst to this feeling, though numbing it for a bit of time until love just becomes boring. Apparently Hendrix’s relationship still hadn’t reached that point, though, judging by her sudden desire to forget the way her insides may feel as if they’re melting away into a hot mush, the only thing that Hyatt can properly compare misplaced love to.

The girl strolled over the hardwood floor of her apartment to her room, where she stopped momentarily at the door to take in the mess strewn around the floors. With a sigh, Hyatt began to sift through the dresses on her floor, shamelessly searching for the one that showed the most skin. Slipping a short, black dress over her head, Hyatt pulled on fishnet stockings and big charcoal boots, only regarding how much of a cliche she’d become for a minute before making her way over to the drawer of her oak bedside table, its top covered with stains from coffee cups and spilled liquors. Inside the little drawer, tucked into the back, Hyatt found her little bag of colorful pills and stuck it in her bag with her fake ID and cell phone. With a haste and foggy excitement, the girl strolled out the front door and drove to the club.

Hendrix went to her bathroom to get ready, putting on light makeup, focusing mostly on her red lipstick and winged eye liner, the only makeup you need, really. After she curled her hair, she checked her phone for time and realized she only had thirty minutes until she told Hyatt she'd meet her. Rushing to her closet, she picked out a tight black dress, some black heels, and a leather jacket. She contemplated putting on tights before deciding against it since she was running a bit late. Yelling at her brother that she was leaving, she hopped in her car, turning onto the road into town.

On the drive there she realized she hadn't talked to Adam today, which was strange but she wasn't going to let it bother her. Hyatt was right, relationships were pointless so she wasn't going to stress out about it. She liked to think her relationship with Adam was different, even if Hyatt couldn't see it. There was only one thing that she would change but she was hoping that would change soon and she understood why. Pulling up outside the club, she parked, grabbing her clutch and making sure everything she needed was in there. Seeing that it was, she got out the car, searching for Hyatt's car. Seeing it parked a couple of cars down, she walked towards it and walked around to the passenger side, knocking on the window.

Hyatt: I think I'm going to take an educated guess and say it's about that guy.

Hyatt: I wouldn't ever say I told you so, I don't think. I'd just reiterate that love is absolutely pointless.

Hyatt: Now let's go get fucked.

"Good, we have plenty of time to do cute couple things." Adam said with a smirk. "Of course I’ve seen it, I don’t actually buy the movie if I haven’t seen it, or I don’t like it." Adam said in a sarcastic voice. Adam was exited to spend so much time with Hendrix, in public and at home, as an actual couple. He liked the company of her, but some days it was fine him not seeing her, and Adam hanging out with friends like Brooke and Bridgette. "I have a feeling we won’t be watching this whole movie, will we." Adam said as he leaned in to kiss her.

"We do, but not too much, Hyatt would kill me if I stopped hanging out with her." Hendrix replied, she knew Hyatt already wasn't pleased with her dating Adam to begin with, if she became one of those girls that cut everyone out of her life for her boyfriend, she's sure she'd lose all of her friends. "I was hoping we wouldn't." She grinned, kissing him back. "But let's at least watch the beginning, yeah?" She pulled away, pressing another light kiss to his lips before focusing her attention on the screen, absentmindedly drawing random patterns on his chest.

"Hot chocolate it is, babe." Adam said as he went off to the kitchen. "Popcorn? Okay." Adam said in a cheery tone. As Adam started making the hot chocolate and popcorn he got a fright when Hendrix hugged him from behind. "Friends with Benefits? Thats fine." Adam said as he looked in the cupboard, finding some cookies he had made yesterday. "You’re going to have to make some with me one day soon, babe." Adam said hinting at the cookies as he hugged Hendrix from behind, kissing her on the top of her head. "Thats more like it." Adam grabbed the hot chocolate, popcorn and cookies with help from Hendrix as they lay down on the couch together, cuddling.

"Classes don't start back up until the end of the month so we have everyday until then," Hendrix replied, taking the plate of cookies from him. Laying down next to him on the couch, she cuddled up next to him, intertwining their fingers. "This is one of my favorite movies, you've seen it before, yeah?" She asked while the movie was starting up.  She was hoping he'd say he had so he wouldn't be too disappointed if they ended up missing any of it.

As Adam heard a knock at the door, he got up quickly, knowing it would be Hendrix and knowing that it was also freezing outside. “Hey girlfriend.” Adam said as he kissed her back, inviting her inside. As Adam lead Hendrix to the couch he grabbed a beanie, putting it onto his head because he was freezing. “So babe, coffee? hot chocolate? tea?” Adam said as he left her on the couch making his way to the kitchen. Adam didn’t know why, but he was somewhat nervous being around her now, even though he had no reason to be. “While I’m making these, choose a movie to watch.” Adam said kindly.

"Umm," She contemplated, tapping her chin in concentration. "Hot chocolate please!" She said smiling up at him from the couch. "Also, popcorn! Please and thank you, babe." She called at his retreating back. Getting up from the couch, she walked over to his movie collection, smiling at how organized they were, especially his millions copies of The Notebook. Seeing one she thought proper, she picked it up, popping it into the player. Sitting back down on the couch, she waited for him to return. Getting bored after a couple of minutes she went to join him in the kitchen Making sure he didn't have any hot liquids in his hands, she walked up behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist. Giggling when he jumped, she pressed a kiss to his clothed back, "Sorry babe, didn't meant to scare you. I put in Friends With Benefits, I hope that's okay."

It was weird for Adam to think that he had only been in Ashtown for around three weeks, and he had already met a lot of great people. Adam thought to himself that if he didn’t move here, he would have never met Hendrix, his girlfriend. After talking to Hendrix, Adam needed to get ready to see her, since she was coming very soon. Adam got in the shower, got out quickly and went to get changed into some sweatpants and a band top, he put on some cologne and went and sat down in the living room, which he cleaned after his and Bridgette’s ice-cream fight the previous night. Adam was exited to see Hendrix, after all they were publicly dating now.

Hendrix quickly hopped into the shower, not wanting to take too long Getting out, she walked into her closet, pulling out a pair of yoga pants, fuzzy socks, and an old soft t shirt. Grabbing her bag, she walked down the stairs towards the garage, slipping into a pair of boots she called out at her brother that she was leaving and got into her car, making her way towards Ashtown. On the drive into town she thought about everything that had happened over winter break. She'd been here all her life but it felt like she'd just moved here, everything was new and exciting. Adam coming into her life was one of the best things that happened to her and it sucked that her best friend wasn't a fan of their relationship. Hendrix realized she was making herself sad so she turned up her music, trying to drown out her thoughts. Pulling up in front of Adam's house, she parked and cut off her engine. Looking in her rear-view mirror, she noticed that she looked like she was about to cry so she blinked away the tears, placing a smile on her face. Walking up to the door she knocked, waiting for Adam to open it. It didn't take long for him to open it and she genuinely smiled at him, leaning up to place a kiss on his lips. "Hey boyfriend," she said, grinning.
