— BULLPRIMO X SHOLT (but mostly Sholt) BACKSTORY!
— Colt's job as sheriff is to catch criminals and put them in jail. And that's what he did in Bull's case for probably the hundredth time in his entire career. When Bull was sitting behind bars in Colt's office, he saw the sheriff looking sadly at a framed photo of him and Shelly. Bull then came up with the idea of offering to help Colt steal Shelly's heart in exchange for his release from prison. Colt, though initially reluctant, eventually agreed - he was willing to do ANYTHING to make Shelly his, even if it meant letting the criminal go. However, he kept an eye on Bull the whole time.
— Colt often begged Bull to play out scenes in the presence of Shelly, in which Colt would fight Bull and win each time, proving his “manliness” and “bravery.” Bull, of course, did not want to let himself be pushed around, but eventually succumbed. After each such action, Bull was put back in the cell by Shelly and Colt, but when the girl left, he was released by Colt again.
— Colt also wanted to please Shelly by making surprises for her, but he had no ideas. Bull suggested the old-fashioned methods, such as buying flowers or chocolates, but Colt rejected such ideas, claiming that they were too boring and unoriginal.
— Every time Colt lost hope of winning Shelly's heart, he would come to Barley's bar, where he would drown his sorrows in drinks and almost get drunk. Bull always found him hunched over at the counter with a pale face. In such a situation, he would sit next to him in silence, keeping him company and thus letting him know that everything would be fine.
— After Colt finally succeeded and started dating Shelly, he thanked Bull for his help (not in front of Shelly, of course) and offered his support if he ever needed it, BUT he warned him jokingly that if he was ever causing ruckus again, he would have to put him back into jail. Bull and Colt became best friends since then.
— Bull used to have a crush on Shelly, but as he saw how much Colt actually cares about her, he gave up. He thought that Shelly would be better off with someone "younger", like Colt (Bull is between 35-54 years old, while Shelly and Colt are between 25-30 years old)
— At one point, Colt became interested in Bull's love life, asking him if he had his eye on any girl out there. Bull didn't wanted to talk about it (guess why)
— Bull and Primo went together to Shelly and Colt's wedding! Every single brawler was there.
— Everytime Shelly and Colt saw Bull and Primo hanging out together, being a little closer than usual, Colt was like "Wow, they are really good friends!" and Shelly was looking at him like "🤨"
— Both pairs form a group of friends which consists of: 3 tough cookies (Shelly, Bull and Primo) and 1 damsel in distress (Colt), 3 idiots (Bull, Primo, Colt) and 1 voice of reason (Shelly), 2 self-centered fellas (Colt, Primo) and 2 annoyed by their attitude (Shelly, Bull), 2 Americans (Colt, Bull) and 2 Latinos (Shelly, Primo), but MOST IMPORTANTLY - gays best friends!!1!
