Important update regarding Byler Fanart Contest:

One participant can submit more than one artwork in various sub-categories. However, one submission will be considered in only one sub-category. More than one submission in the same sub-category is not allowed.

Greetings again fellow bylers!

As said before, here are some more details for the Byler Fanart Contest.

Categories:

Overall category- This is the overall category where every artwork will be considered.

Canon/Post-Canon Byler

Miwi

Cleradin (also a variant, but since it is a huge part of the show and the fanbase, it needs its own category)

Lesbyler

Other variants/AUs (for eg: Sharknilla, Sevenspins, etc.)

Comic- This is only applicable if your comic has two or more strips.

Lawless byler

Rules:

Everyone who has participated will be considered in the overall category and an additional sub-category.

One artwork can be considered in only one sub-category.

If your artwork fits more than one sub-category, you can choose which category you want to submit your artwork to. For eg: if your artwork is lesbyler, cleradin, and miwi, you can choose your preferred category. Say, you choose miwi, so your artwork will be considered in the overall category as well as the miwi sub-category.

If you don't mention your preferred sub-category, it will be decided on the basis of number of submissions in each sub-category to even it out. For eg: your artwork is both lawless byler and a variant other than cleradin, and the lawless byler category has fewer submissions, your artwork will be considered in the lawless byler sub-category along with the overall category.

Any art style and medium is accepted, whether it be traditional or digital, oil pastels or pencil colours, coloured or non-coloured.

If you want to submit a comic, it must have two or more panels.

If use of AI is detected, your submission will not be considered.

Kindly do not forget to tag @bylerfanartcontest if you want to participate in this.

Any hate towards any submission will not be entertained.

The number of notes in your post will not play any role in the judgement.

You can submit any old artwork too that you have already posted.

Submissions are open from 13th June to 10th July.

Greetings Bylers!

We are all aware that 7th July is THE Byler Day because it's the 7th day in the 7th month of the year (the roll was a seven right?).

So there will be a Byler Fanart Contest during these few days. Due to different (and very confusing) timezones, submissions will be accepted till 10th July.

To participate, you just need to post your fanart and tag this blog (@bylerfanartcontest). If your post is reblogged by this account, it means your submission has been acknowledged. If you don't receive any notification, kindly reach out by tagging this blog again.
