Some days feel like...whatever I choose them to be. I might not start the day feeling how I would like, or maybe I do but get turned around despite my best effort. I don't get to predict the emotions that I didn't know I would experience, or prepare for situations that I wasn't aware would happen, but I can choose how I will react to circumstances. Sometimes what feels like the most vulnerable, defeating and harrowing moments are actually opportunities to feel empowered, appreciative and fortunate, given that I choose to see it that way. Today is a special day because @grumbledude and I will be discussing the results of his most recent CT scan with his doctor via teleconference. Although we are confident the news will be positive, this journey has been a reminder of how there is never really any way to predict what happens in life. That is why it is so important to embrace the now, whatever it may be.
