Finn looked down and grinned at their fingers intertwined. He liked being like that with Brynn. Once they arrived to the car he walked towards the other side and after opeining the door he sat and closed the door. “Tell me Bry… I this place far from here?”

Once he was inside the car, she pulled the car into reverse, then looked at him, before she actually took her foot off the break. “Seat belt.” She said in a serious tone, before cracking a smile, pulling on her own. “It’s like a fifteen minute drive.”

He took a bite of his own food, “let’s go now, we will eat on our way to the secret place and I will invite you a dessert once we are out of school.” He smiled at her as he pulled her in a side hug.

Brynn leaned into him a bit, looking up at him. “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited.” She mused, with a wide smile, deepening her dimples. Something she always hated, but her mom always loved. ‘Everyone want’s dimples.’ Her mom would say, which warranted some eye-rolls from Brynn. “Have you ever noticed that the best food is so unhealthy?” She asked the same question everyone asked, but it still baffled her. She treat in front of her, and tilted her head, before she shrugged her should that was not near Finn and shrugged. “Eh, as they say, ‘Yolo’“ She joked, before taking another bite, then giggling. That was the first, and last time she would ever actually say ‘yolo’.

"Hey, Beckett!" Brynn chirped, offering him a smile.

“And lucky for you, I’m driving. I have my moms car today.”

“Excellent! Let’s go now Bry!” He said as he took her hand and started pulling her gently towards the cars.

Brynn followed closely behind him, not ripping her hand from him or anything. Once arrived to the car, she pulled open her door on the drivers side, and ducked in.

Brynn smiled and shook her head slightly. “And you’re leaving me in suspense,.. So you’re evil.” She joked. “Kidding of coarse.” She added. “Oh.. Well then, thanks!”

He laughed “Well it wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you where are we going.” He smiled at her. “Any time Brynn.”Finn said as he handed her the corn dog.

Brynn accepted the delightfully greedy food, and smiled. "Well, duh!" She said with a laugh, picking up the food, from the stick of course, and taking a bite.

Maks shook his head, laughing slightly. “Brynn, you’re one of my students. You will never, ever be a burden.” He went to his desk and pulled out another packet of paper, this time ungraded, and placed it in front of Brynn. “Here, I’ve prepared a lesson packet for you just to start off with.”

Brynn pulled it closer to her, and reviewed it quickly in her mind. Not that she processed anything. “Are you sure! Oh my goodness, thank you so much, Mr. Beck!”

“Excuse me, can you tell me where the English classroom is?”

Oh.. Yeah. It’s just down the hall!

So i’ve come to the conclusion that Big Brother is just about the same thing as the Hunger Games..without dying.

Maks bit his lip and thought for a moment. “You’re on a scholarship, right?” he asked, pointing out the obvious. If she couldn’t pay for tutoring, she certainly couldn’t pay for school. “Come to my classroom every day during lunch. I’ll help you. I can’t help you much with French, though.” He cracked a smile. “Devil language.”

Brynn nodded, slightly. “Uh.. yeah... I am.” A certain feeling of shame ruched through her body, for no particular reason. She wasn’t the only kid in the school who was on scholarship, and she defiantly wasn’t the only one struggling with grades. But It still didn’t make her feel good. She stared at her lap, to avoid eye contact. “I... Uh... Are you sure?” She asked in that signature hushed tone of hers. “I wouldn’t want to be a burden...”

That’s sad. I’d hate not having good desserts every so often.

I’m actually glad though! It stops me from snacking!

“Let’s go now Brynn! I’m hungry”

He laughed and let her tights go “I’m not evil, I’m trying to surprise you” He said smiling at her sweetly. Finn ran after her and took is messy folded dolars from his pocket to pay before her “Nope Brynn when you are with me I pay. That’s what gentlemans do”

I like some comics... I haven’t like got my hands on a lot, though...

After seeing the Suicide Squad trailer, I totally know what I’m dressing up as for Halloween.

Maks leaned down next to Brynn’s desk with his pen and pointed to a few of her test answers. They were marked correctly. “You should stop doubting your abilities, Brynn. You may not be good at tests, but you’re not too bad at German. It’s better to fill something out than to just leave the question completely blank.”

She seemed like a perfectly bright girl, but languages are difficult and students who excelled at math and science often needed a bit of extra help. “The school does have tutoring services, you know. You can always ask for my help if you’re having trouble with your homework.”

Brynn sighed, leaning forward. staying silent, and reviewing the answers. This would be a test she would be more than happy to throw into a fire pit. “I know... I just haven’t signed up for one. I don’t know if I can afford a tutor.”
