I know it hasn't been officially announced yet,

but I will be INCREDIBLY disappointed if the next chronicles of the avatar book isn't about kuruk

I don't care that we heard his story in kyoshi's book; I need more!

I wanna see how he met all his friends/companions, how he fell in love, him being a natural at writing poetry and playing pai sho

I wanna see him interact with yangchen & see her be so caring & maternal towards him (this is my headcanon, idc)

I wanna see him interact with the surviving companions of yangchen! like I NEED to see kuruk and kavik interact 🙏🏻

I will be actually heartbroken if kuruk doesn't get a duology of his own

and he reveals his face to be sanji's bounty poster & brook just absolutely loses it lmao like he is keeled over, cracking up to the point he can't breathe

I love this scene for a multitude of reasons which I will explain below:

First of all, it's funny as fuck lmao. Genuinely 10/10 writing, I feared Oda peaked with this /j

Considering everything Brook has been through, you know just absolute despair and loneliness for 50 years, the fact that this is the first thing he sees after joining the crew? Impeccable, I must say. The man probably hadn't really laughed for fifty years and then he's genuinely dying from laughter like a day after joining the Strawhats, like, I love that for him <333

Plus, Sanji didn't want Brook to join in the first place! Like Nami didn't either, to be fair, but it's hilarious that he's being laughed at by this skeleton that he didn't want on his crew originally

But it's clear that Sanji has very much accepted Brook into this family based on the way he's reprimanding him the same way he would with Luffy lmao; real friends laugh and yell at each other like there's no tomorrow

Just rewatched the scene so this doesn't really count, but I misremembered Sanji saying "I'm going to kill you!" to Brook, which means that Brook was laughing so hard he couldn't even make an "I'm already dead" joke, which just shows how ridiculous this whole scene is

anyway, this is my formal petition for there to be more brook & sanji scenes bc they're hilarious together

seeing such great art for all my fandoms makes me so inspired

like it makes me wanna pick up a sketchbook or drawing tablet and just go to town with my doodling

but I know that I'll get frustrated bc my drawings never look quite right, my anatomy is no good, I'm bad at shading, have terrible depth perception & can never match my references, etc.

I want to be a digital artist but I don't have the patient nor confidence to go through being terrible at it before I'm good at it

I think I'll just stick to writing my silly little stories,,
