Kill Emil - Broken (EP)

From the guys over at the world's best free internet label Dusted Wax: "Broken" (EP) is the 5th solo release from the Athens based producer Kill Emil. It's a fusion of post rock and hip-hop, knocked up with psychedelic guitar riffs, deep basslines and synth lines layered over chopped up drum breaks."

This one definately doesn't disappoint. I didn't think it was possible to hear something entirely new and be nostolgic at the same time but Kill Emil has accomplished just that. Go pick up this great freebie today!

Winter Chill Team Battle 2013

On Sunday, February 17th @ 8PM EST, CoBC hosted the first chill battle of 2013.  The Winter Chill Team Battle consisted of three teams and 20 players.  The battle lasted 2.5 hours with a total of 90 ♥ snags!

WINNER!! - Team BLUE: FUN POLICE (capt), CAB, MoonCrayon, BlueDubPirate BDP, dazednconfused, Mystic Monk, David Nevers - 167 pts.

Team GREEN: kipper (capt), Phenomental, AstroAmerican, Brotus, Hanseshadow, Terminally Chill - 154 pts.

Team GOLD: QbertSwima (capt), BadSukiyaki, aigoo, The Bass Cadet, NN3RD, Trinity Sound System, Smith* - 149 pts.

1st Annual Chilly Awards

Chill Or Be Chilled hosted the 1st Annual Chilly Awards on Turntable.fm on February 10 from 8-11PM EST. We had over 60 listeners throughout the event! After reading the comments in the room, we have decided to start the event much earlier next year. Be ready for the 2013 Chillys!
