Work set up a wine day for the crew at an outstation, we did blind tasting and then everyone drank all the leftover sampling wine (we didn't want it to expire you know.)

Science, freedom, beauty, adventure: what more could you ask of life? Aviation combined all the elements I loved. There was science in each curve of an airfoil, in each angle between strut and wire, in the gap of a spark plug or the color of the exhaust flame. There was freedom in the unlimited horizon, on the open fields where one landed. A pilot was surrounded by beauty of earth and sky. He brushed treetops with the birds, leapt valleys and rivers, explored the cloud canyons he had gazed at as a child. Adventure lay in each puff of wind.I began to feel that I lived on a higher plane than the skeptics of the ground; one that was richer because of its very association with the element of danger they dreaded, because it was freer of the earth to which they were bound. In flying, I tasted a wine of the gods of which they could know nothing. Who valued life more highly, the aviators who spent it on the art they loved, or these misers who doled it out like pennies through their antlike days? I decided that if I could fly for ten years before I was killed in a crash, it would be a worthwhile trade for an ordinary life time.— Charles A. Lindbergh, 'The Spirit of St. Louis.'
Good afternoon Victoria!

Moscow you beautiful thing!
Hello St Petersburg ♥
I am a ticketing agent for an airline and plan to do something similar to what you are doing on this website. Has it been super difficult for you to remain anonymous??? Like you, my job would be on the line if I m discovered.
Hi,
I definitely struggle with anonymity, often I am asked about my employer or things that would reveal too much which is hard because I love my readers and wish I could share everything with them but in the interest of my career aspirations and avoiding any trouble I have to remain anonymous. I find it hard when certain questions are asked to be able to answer them without giving too much away. I think staying anonymous is fantastic! I can tell you guys all sorts of stuff that otherwise would be off limits. Thanks for reading and I look forward to reading your blog as well, I am sure you have some great stories.
The one with the reindeer…
As we get closer and closer to the festive season I am always reminded of where in the world I have been in the past. One story I recall was last Christmas, despite wanting to be around my family and friends greatly I was assigned to spend it in the romantic and exquisite island of Mauritius. When I walked into the briefing room the crew seemed less than interested understandably as they were to be away from their loved ones on what was for many a special time of year.

The non flight deck photos, are they from your jumpseat? They are awesome sauce. Also do you have go through a recertification sort of training every year or so and do you get paid during that time?
Thanks so much, I am glad to know I am not the only one who loves photos from the aircraft. They are from different aircraft windows to get the best shot, usually the doors. I do have to go through a yearly recurrent training and I do get paid but not as much as flying.
I love your blog SO MUCH. I love how you write, I couldn't stop reading. You've encouraged me to apply for a FA on domestic flights. Please keep posting these awesome stories, they are true gems! Love from Canada (have you ever been?) <3
Thank you so much :) I have never been to Canada but I really want to visit one day. I just really want to eat poutine.
Hi! Have you been to Malaysia?
Hi!Yes I have. I have been to Malaysia, over 10 times now! I have visited the Genting Highlands and the Batu caves. The crew often go to Bukit Bintang for shopping and dinner. I always get myself some Hainanese chicken rice or satay. Also I ate some Durian and was not a huge fan! Thanks for reading
