I can be really shy interacting in online communities. Similar to real life. I’m trying to improve on both ends. I will respond to direct messages but I am unsure on how to respond to other forms such as comments (I usually perceive it as one off things I can’t really add onto unless it’s a question directed at me).
Anyway, I’m open to advice and criticism so please reach out if I’m doing something such as not properly tagging or I didn’t read your bio correctly before posting art of an OC of yours (I can delete the post or change it in whatever way, whatever is comfortable for you).

She has a weak leg which is why she uses a cane. Her right leg was born with weaker muscles and while physically therapy has helped with strengthening she still needs a cane if she’s going outside.
Her favorite colors are pink, blue, and yellow (as seen with her outfits.)
She doesn’t have any supernatural heritage but does have a strange ability where any parasite that tries attaching to her dies. Curses are reflected. Essentially any magical harm that someone or something tries to inflict on to them is stopped. Why? She is someone who’s gained favor of one of the Gods around the college. I won’t be naming which one. I’d also like to note that this ability is considered very minor compared to others who are more dear to the Gods. I’ll go other the details of what being favored means and how being givens an ability by a God in this AU is different from just receiving a blessing.
Right now I’m doing info dump on her new backstory! They are now in Course of Temptation! Her story doesn’t fit to gameplay fully just as an FYI. (Keeping her old tag along with any OCs with the old tag, future OCs tags will differ.)

I haven’t decided if I want to have a concert sexuality for Izumi since I kind of want to try drawing ship art of them with some new OCs I’m coming up.
Basic information: Izumi gets into college on a scholar ship and is working as a teacher assistant as part of it. Shes a lab assistant. They do coding in their free time and makes extra cash by propitiating plants to sell.
Deeper story: During their first year Izumi got into a relationship with a sophomore in the art department. Their relationship was very much a will they won’t they from Izumi’s view until she finally asked them out. As it turn out the reason it felt like a will they won’t they is because their partner was hoping it be a won’t (they don’t hate Izumi but they were someone who just wasn’t looking for a romantic relationship with her.) Izumi did everything to try and please or get the attention of their partner. It becomes toxic really fast and before you know it Izumi burns herself out. Eventually she discovers that all their friends (which where just her partners friends since she’s isn’t super protective in making friends for herself) all don’t like her. It blows up jn a huge fight and they break up. After this she develops some pretty bad trust issues and whenever they do get close to someone it becomes hard for them not to smoother them with affection since she barely has anyone in her life outside of the professor she works under (prof is very close with them but the professional part of their relationship does add a barrier.)

(Disclaimer : I am not involving myself with the game I was playing before, I’m taking aspects I liked from it to make an AU/story setting for my OCs in COT. I will be sticking to the themes that COT has and nothing more extreme than that.)
First of all, what is the origin of the supernatural in this AU?
This small college town has always attracted the strange, does not matter what kind. Cults have risen and fallen, groups of travelers throughout time have gone missing, and things beyond human seem to come into being. The ‘Elk’ that now representative of the college was once more than just a mascot. It was a being miles high with horns stretching like a tree canopy. This is its land and even if it no longer stands if you are so unlucky as to trip into a small pocket in the mountains you will find yourself in a cave that had been hidden by vines. Finding this massive ‘Elk’ lying within a biological tomb of its own making. Everything looks like plants and vegetation yet it all pulses like flesh. Looking at it is the last thing you will do as you are altered beyond recognition.
Why doesn’t anyone notice these strange things?
There are humans being strange — then theirs the straight up creatures. How does no one notice these creatures?
Well, you need some amount of mana in your body to be able to even perceive beyond your limited world. Magic curtain basically. If you gain mana the first things you’d see are beings in the common category. Above that level the beings use their own magic as an extra layer to protect their actual forms, you either need to gain a lot of mana to brute force perception or become very skilled with the mana you have. Gaining or becoming skilled gets harder for each level. (Witches look like normal humans but it’s easier to see them performing magic when you get better perception.)
‘Extinct’ beings like the ‘Elk’ make their own magic pockets within the world so they aren’t really near humans or beings that often. Generally even with the curtain that obscures magical things people without magical perception will be able to see their true forms. Their areas aren’t easy to get into so anyone that ends up in one by accident or on purpose is very unlucky. It’s eldritch horror is what I’m saying.
What kinds of beings exist in the area? (More detail on these beings will be in a different post, I will edit a link into here when I write it. Some creatures will be referred to by what they are and not the names I will be giving them later on just so it’s more clear what they are.)
Common (beings found within the human population of town/interact a lot with humans) : Minor demonic beings, dream entities, dust sprites
Uncommon (live within town but generally avoid interaction when possible) : Mimics, spider spirits, love bugs, shapeshifters (large category for multiple different beings), witches
Rare (interact with humans still but not in typical social interactions or places) : Holy beings, the success shrine spirit, mind leeches
Very Rare (into the wilderness) : Werewolf, fae, siren, fire light spirits, shadow stalkers
Extremely Rare (if your interacting with them you messed up some how) : Vampires, higher fae, tainted humans, homuncules
Unique (Only one of this type of beings live in the area but aren’t part of the old growth) : Naga, minor god, kitsune, sealed amalgamation, the vengeful creation (controller of homuncules)
‘Extinct’ (Or old growth) : The ‘Elk’, The Watching Star (God of offering), Sentinel (God of preservation). 
Magical items?
Anything you find in town is super low level and you’d need to wear like 15 magic jewelry pieces to even have enough magic to perceive the common level beings. Using magic objects as your source means you have to wear them at all the time since you aren’t absorbing the magic in them. They have their own uses/functions outside of being able to use the mana. Its use can be up to you to imagination since there are loads of em.
What about stuff stronger than that? That be character specific or very important since magical beings use stronger ones that they don’t let easily fall into human hands. Witch items are different from magical items used by beings.

Fun lore note: Sentinel was once called ‘The hands that pickle’ by a smaller group that once worshipped it. It enjoys pickled things as offerings because this group introduced the concept to it.
I’ve got into Course of Temptation after I left DOL. I was playing it a little bit but now I’m fully in it.
I’ve been having a lot more fun if I’m being honest. It all feels a lot less stressful and the ‘interaction’ panel and segments feel a lot more interesting with all its options. Having special characters with story lines along with random NPCs feels like the worlds more wide and gives more opportunities to craft your character as you like.
Being able to layer clothes and seeing how the outfits are perceived is so cool! I have so much fun playing dress up. I am a little confused on warm/cool factor for clothing still.
I do miss some story such as supernatural stuff but I think I’ll be crafting a sort of AU situation for myself? Since COT has some conspiracies I think it isn’t random. I just need to make it less blatant.
I’ll make a whole post and tag for that later to start writing about it and making some stuff. If anyone likes what I write it also be convenient for them to use the tag too.
For OCs, oh man the customization really helped me visualize them. I’ll be drawing them at some point.
Since I’m back into a text based game I think I’ll start back up plushie gun! Of course the other game I was posting about will get plushies first but ya!
I was not expecting to be at Caleb’s funeral omg. I feel so guilty right now. Don’t know what’s Ned’s deal but loving the guy. Something about I’m is so interesting, especially with how he and Florian seem to potentially know eachother.
Emily and José coming back isn’t unexpected but I’m surprised at how much impact they have. Even though im sus of Flo (I’m just going to call him that) I’m really hoping the guy that was so willing to screw him over gets what’s coming to him.
My wary feeling for Flo is definitely becoming a deeper curiosity that I think I might just make a second account to replay the game for his route.
Able is cute but I’m not sure I want to make three accounts so I might just peek at what other people say about his route for the time being.
Having to finish ep 12 still but I’m getting close to 14. Everyone keeps talking about what happens but I’m very grateful no one is spoiling anything so I can see for myself.
Omg there’s supernatural shit in this game!? I was kind of set on Cain, now I’m so utterly wrapped up in his story and character. Omg he said he’s Perry the platypus I love this. I’m moving to ep 11 now so hoping I finish by tonight so I can start reading fanfics on these freaks.
Playing dating killmulator right now and Florian disturbs me on some deeper leave and I can’t understand why.
Like I want to be friends with him and he hasn’t shown any outwardly dangerous behavior like the other two but something just doesn’t feel right.
He gets really friendly really fast even though he doesn’t seem the type (I don’t mean in a therapy way. He is more touchy than I expected).
So far I’m hoping to romance Cain since he seems the most upfront with who he is. Able is fine however I don’t get why he likes us (he seems to know of us even before we talk. Maybe I’ll get more info on him further in the game?)
I’m at the dinner party right now so I’m trying to get through that. Florian has spoken more ominously than usual so I feel like I’ll be getting a better read on him soon.
Just came back and it seems DOL is having something going on? I only interact with the community on tumblr so I’ve just been scrolling to try and get some context on what happened. From what I can tell it involves doxxing, abusing free labor, and maybe some sort of abuse. Please correct me if I’m wrong on this cause I’m very lost at the moment.
However, now that I’m aware something has happened and many of the creators in the community who I enjoy the content of are separating from this — I’ll be going too since even though I don’t have full context, from what I can tell I don’t want to continue interacting with the game.
Some people may say ‘The game has dark themes, why would you care about what the creators have done?’ Well, we all can enjoy unrealistic, dark, and disturbing stories as adults. I don’t condon the horrible actions that can happen in these types of games in real life. From my perspective these games are a way to safely explore situations, ideas, and dynamics that aren’t something one would realistically want to experience in real life. Like shooting games, sure, some people actually do have violent tendencies and wish they could intact the actions they do in the game, but that’s not the majority of the people playing the game. (I tried explaining this the best I can so I hope it gets my point across on my stance that games/fiction ≠ ones real life morals).
As for what I’ll be doing with this account, in the past I said I was going to do dolls of other games anyway since this blog was meant for that anyway. So I’ll still be posting on my infrequent schedule.
I’m also going to take this time to better my etiquette on tumblr since before I hadn’t messaged the person before I made the dolls which I’d like to apologize for. From now on I will be asking in advance and if anyone wants me to delete any dolls please let me know so I can also personally apologize. I’m unsure how you do message as a side blog since idk if messages for side blogs are separate or if it’s like ask where you can only use the main. I’ll figure it out 🫡
Lastly, I’ll be redesigning/transferring OCs so I can use them for the new games I’ll be looking to interact with!

The result of wanting to help people is pain for her. They don’t really seem to even realize how far down they drift in their attempts to protect others. How the people they believe they are close to will never care for them as much as they do. She is truly alone, someone who surrounds themselves can still be very alone. During this time she’ll take on any task to get money, buy the cheapest clothes at the market, and throw themself into impossible to win circumstance. A devote helper to the church yet not even they help her. She snaps.
People don’t snap easily and rarely is it ever a sudden thing. It’s a build up of things they desperately try to cope with. Alcohol helps Izumi. Helps them avoid the hospital… they don’t like it hospital. Thats where Dr Harper is and they’d rather be dragged around by a bunch of drunks than go to Harper.
It can’t hold off the inevitable, the Ivory Wraith watch’s on with a knowing eye. It’s quite sad how it’s only a wraith that notices the warning signs.
People start looking at them funny, how Izumi just starts talking to the air. Speaking to the Ivory Wraith since they are the only person that’ll listen.
I’m going to try drawing them in all their stages since I want to explore each part just a little.

Izumi had that protagonist hero complex in that she was ready to sacrifice themselves for mere strangers… It does not go well as you’d probably guess, especially in this sort of town (sketch for stage two how things go during that). They just love helping, a busy body to no end! Helping the church, orphans, and Laundry sometimes.
Sure, everyone doesn’t really seem to have time to give back but they just know how hard it is to live in this town! They understands. They know… It’s alright if they’re a little lonely.
I like to keep trying different things with each doll. Line art, no line art, thick lines, thin lines, etc. it’s been fun.

Hair type -> Fur hair I haven’t seen any great braids yet so doll hair would be a better choice for this doll. (Bangs can be shaped with hair gel) 🪼 The necklace would be easy since I’ve seen a few cross beads and necklaces. One can be made or one can modify one. 🪼 Clothing would need to be custom ordered since most premade clothing listings I’ve seen are usually everyday clothes. Sometimes a seller gives a discount if you order both the doll and clothes at the same time though. 🪼 Just wanted to note, not sure how well stockings/pantyhose (I know it can be hard making these on a smaller scale).
I said I wanted to draw something new, I think I drew a nun outfit before but I wanted to retry again.
In October I’m going to keep an eye out for a spooky 👻 character to draw for plushie gun. Since it’s my 50 doll coming up I might pick a character from one of those spooky dating games.
I’ve decided for my break downs -> I’ll note things quickly and go into details of the doll has something new I haven’t addressed in the past.

Hair type -> Doll hair (wavy or slightly curly, depends on what maker has. Curled and styled straight hair might work depending on how good the maker is at styling). 🪼 Regular hair pins can work but if too big I recommend children’s accessories stores like I have in the past. This can also go for earrings as well since they often sell clip on earrings. 🪼 As for freckles, just like other skin details this can look a bit strange embroidered so using a fabric pen is what I’d recommend since you can add these on to ones on preference (same for tattoos or scars).
What I want to work on for the next plushie, I want to pick a PC with a trait or something I haven’t drawn before or much.
Progress, I feel like my understanding of the 3d shape of things has gotten better. I feel more comfortable drawing different body types too (can’t really show that with these plushie gun drawings but I’ll show it in a dif drawing). Backgrounds need a big overhaul, will try focusing on that these next few months.
