the Grief is big today. ~ and the Grief was big yesterday. ~ and the Grief was big the day before that and even the day before that. ~ and the Grief was big last week. ~ and the Grief was big the week before that.

this happens every august, so it’s no longer a surprise, just an “oh, you again?” …but still. even though it’s expected, it doesn’t make the (metaphorical) waves of it feel any smaller.

i’ve heard grief is a form of love, and that’s why it sticks around so long. but damn, it’s a lot. and i do wish august could go back to being just august again.

Beside you sits Aerion, unable to take his eyes off you while yours remain bound to the skyline. He had been wondering if you would like the surprise, but the awe written across your face is more than enough of an answer for him.

"How did you even manage to get us in here?" you asks, turning to him with a smile— even though deep down, you already know the answer. His family name alone opens doors everywhere you go.

gf!Reader who uncovers his lie and confront shim quietly, desperate not to make a scene. But instead of offering a simple apology, Aerion instantly flips the narrative, gaslighting you until you feel like you're losing your mind.

"You’re sitting here in a five-star restaurant, drinking five-hundred-dollar champagne on my card, and you're playing the victim because I solved a problem in ten seconds? You're completely ruining a good night over nothing. Unbelievable."

bf!Aerion who maintains a punishing silence for the rest of the date, intentionally making you feel entirely responsible for ruining the evening by bringing up his lie. The heavy tension leaves you feeling sick to your stomach. When you finally break and apologize just to end the agonizing silence, he accepts it smugly— like a forgiving king granting mercy to a loyal subject.

Funny thought I’ve had about werewolves recently but since they transform under the “light” of the full moon wouldn’t that mean that any phase the moon is in would have some effect on werewolves?

Like, a waxing moon would only make them transform partially and the less light there is less wolfy features there are but still you can tell your homie is a lycanthrope cuz even by the slightest glimmer of moonlight they’ll get harrier or grow claws or their eyes get reflective ect.

The only time they’ll look completely human is during a new moon ☝️
