Commissions Open
Hello everyone! I hope you’ve been alright! I finally managed to do some updates to the site and commission sorting: I hope it is more clear now!
If you want to take a look, or give feedback, I am always welcome to hear about it! You can check the Updated Commission Info.
This being said, commissions slots are now OPEN. If you’re interested please send me an email to [email protected] , specifying what kind of commission you’d like, characters involved (references) and if you have an idea for your slot or prefer a Wing It Slot, otherwise Character Sheets are also available.
I will take a few days to organize the requests and workload, and start working on them between the weekend / Monday the latest. Please be patient while I get to your email / slot! Thank you!
In other news, I will be making a raffle for September. Stay tuned for those!
Thank you all for reading and the interest. Signal boosting is appreciated too!
Boost boost!
Possible Commissions: Feedback?
I’ve always had a strong stance against taking money for anything I draw, but having such success with these past few prompts (and updating to a program that isn’t 10 years old) is making me consider it. Hitting almost 400 followers has been a slight confidence boost too, but I’m still fighting through a certain hatred for my own work.
I’ve recently gotten into some expensive hobbies and my hardware is needing an upgrade. I’m still rocking an Intuos4 and my pen is literally held together with tape. It also can take me upwards of 20 hours working time for some of the things I’ve posted lately.
[I won’t be charging for the free prompts I’ve already taken on and will probably continue to take free prompts or challenges from time to time.]
But I digress:
Would anyone be interested?
What price ranges sound reasonable?
What kind of canvas size/image resolution do you expect when you order art?
Should I just keep it free and link my Ko-fi account if people want to send a dollar or two?
Commissions are a good idea, I think!
In regard to my rebloggle, here's a sketch I made recently!
REBLOG THIS IF you love your DnD character, are making a DnD character OR you have eaten approximately 12 D20s
All of the above
Couple of experiments from tonight
A doodle from Tuesday. Thank @crazysticks for giving me a good shove. Guy figuratively threw my tablet at me, and I'm very grateful
Found this fortune in a fortune cookie after dinner this evening. Too tired to feel anxiety about posting this either. I'll delete it later tho, thought it might be fun to post. Guess I'd better get to drawing more again, shouldn't I? Peace.
“Beefcake Tur"s sister, "Buffy”
Quick draws! Need to get more comfortable posting again, especially with sketches such as this. Lately I’ve sunk back into that awkward blog-anxiety funk.
Happy New year!!
On a personal level, 2017 was an adventure. Thank you all for being so awesome! Here's to everyone for 2018!! Cheers!! ♥️
@crazysticks asked me to doodle his DnD character so here he is! Introducing Gristle! He and a few others are in Valken’s traveling party. Maybe someday we’ll leave the underdark. Right? Right? Right.
Playing any games recently? Watching any movies/shows?
Lessee, I watched the VVitch, Captain America: Civil War, and Spiderman Homecoming recently. VVitch was a lot of fun to watch, I’d recommend it for it’s excellent creepiness. Civil War was a lot of fun, more than I was expecting. And, for all its faults, I think the MCU is doing really well over such a long period of time. Homecoming was great to follow that up with, and it’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a Spiderman movie so much! I’d recommend all three of them.
Not a lot of games lately to be honest. Buddy of mine got a SNES classic, so weve played that some and have had a blast. Playing Star Fox 2 on official Nintendo hardware was like a dream come true for me.
Sketch Dump!
Sorry for such a long post! Just some doodles I need to get done
What inspires your artistic style?
I don’t really have a clear answer to this, to be perfectlyhonest. I kinda trip and stumble a lot with art and it’s hard to keep thingsvisually consistent over time. If there is one consistently reoccurring thing,it’s learning more and making stuff that’s cool to me. I’ve always drawn and doodledsince as long as I can remember. But I’ve never had the self-discipline to sitdown and really give something the finesse it needs to be considered complete, barring a few class projects and commissions. I consider this to be apersonality flaw that isn’t very constructive, so lately I’ve been working onit how I can. Encouragement from friends and family and working every day inthe creative field as a multimedia designer has certainly helped immensely thisyear. With any luck (and free time) I’ll be able to translate what I’ve learnedover to the hobby side of things.
I enjoy deconstructing things. I appreciate the frameworkfor art more often than I enjoy seeing finished pieces and try to wrap my headaround it. Which is why I enjoy watching streams and speed painting videos.Things that lead up to a grand finale of having this cool thing that they made.Same goes for working on cars, electronics, printing, audio equipment, animation, video games, movies, and just about anything that piques myinterest.
It’s been a dream of mine to make a world with a big storyto tell. But deconstructing writing and world-building hasn’t been something I’vefocused on a lot. So that’s always been in the background, bubbling away.Maybe something will brew up that’ll be worthwhile enough to really get at itand just go to town on, but until then I’ll keep doodling what’s fun to me and try to behappy in the process.
Do you have horsey sauce?
And ketchup!
