Tweeks words were always too kind. If it was anyone else, Craig would have flipped them off, walking away, but since he was the special exception, Craig just shrugged, sipping his drink while watching the screen. “The transitions are choppy and there’s a few things that just don’t flow right.” He didn’t want to add that there were a few shots in the video with the wrong lighting and the music - there were more than enough that Craig could talk about, but he stopped himself, glancing over at the shaking blonde next to him.
There was something about Tweek that made Craig just want to shake him, yet at the same calm him down. It’s probably the reason why he kisses him so often, because not only does the blonde pause, confused or shocked, he also freaked out afterwards unless they’re alone. Every time, no matter what, it was amazing, and Craig yearned for those moments, though he doesn’t show it often.
It was a short film, lasting only about twenty minutes, though there was a lot that still needed to be done to it. The final product could be a half hour or even forty-five minutes, but it was just long enough for Craig to finish his own cup of coffee, and wrap his arm around his boyfriend. Heh, that word always made Craig want to roll his eyes, and he could vividly remember when the idea of dating made him want to puke. He watched as Token and Clyde had romanced their significant others, rolling his eyes at it, yet here he was, in the most serious thing he’s ever held together. It was a miracle he hadn’t fucked it up already.
When the film was over, Craig rubbed his eyes, moving the laptop and extending his hand for Tweek’s mug. “Did you like it?” He asked, staring up at the blonde’s blue eye.
Tweek had long been finished with his coffee by time the video ended, which was probably a good thing considering that he'd be able to pay more attention to the video and less attention to drinking his coffee. Sure he might have burnt his tongue a little bit, but in the end he at least felt a little refreshed.
He'd leaned into Craig when that arm pulled around him. It had been an unconscious action, but it wasnt like he wouldn't have done as much if he had been thinking about it anyway. The blonde was feeling warm in his stomach from the drink, and now cuddling against Craig he was starting to feel even more defrosted from the cold outside.
How long had it been since this started? It all seemed like it was yesterday when Tweek was just the random fourth member to Craig's group. It had gone from acquaintances to friends, from friends to that awkward stage where Tweek couldnt tell if Craig liked or hated him, and then this. Tweek wasn't even all that sure when he'd discovered that his heart racing from time to time had been from Craig himself, and not all that caffeine. Maybe it had started when Craig started standing up for him. Like when Stan and Kenny teased him about the underpants gnomes. Craig had done a lot for Tweek, and so in turn Tweek tried not to be such a burden and have more fun with the guys. His attempts werent very successful, but it wasnt like they hated him for it.
"I-I liked it," came his answer. He was hesitant, wanting to offer cleaning his own cup or refilling it on his own but then half wondered if his boyfriend would let him. Eventually Tweek handed over his mug, settling for keeping close to Craig's warmth. "I cant wait to-- see how great it'll look when - ah - you're done with it. You a-always do such--great work."
