Not needing any more invitation than that, Bette leaned in and grabbed herself a chocolatey looking cupcake and put it on a plate, licking the frosting off her fingers. “Stop by and I’ll personally style you,” she said, her eyebrows rising and falling to indicate that it was a high honor. Not that it was anything entirely special, but it wasn’t as if the woman had much free time on her hands. “I have tons of new things floating around, but it’s a different story as to when they’ll be…out. I’m uh, designing a collection for Fashion Week next year, and I’d be lying if I said that hasn’t forced everything else to the back seat.”
Cait offered her a soft smile, tucking more of the chocolate cupcakes into the case. "I may just take you up on that. All I seem to think about all day is sugar, flour, and buttercream. Leaves little time for much else." Her laugh was soft and light, and she paused and dusted confectioner's sugar from her sleeve before placing a cupcake in the space left by Bette's selection. "Fashion Week? Isn't that the big thing in New York? Sounds exciting!" She paused, laughing slightly at herself. "Sorry 'm not precisely in the know about all things fashion; I sort of just pick up odd talk around here when people come in."
