Getting by x Re-engage UK ✨
Loneliness can quietly shape the rhythm of daily life.
This short film by photographer and filmmaker Caitlin Chescoe documents the everyday life of her grandad, who has been living alone in later life following the loss of his wife. Through gentle observation, the film captures the slower moments of ageing, the routines of home and the reality many older people experience when mobility, health and circumstances change.
Across the UK, millions of older people face similar moments of isolation. At Re-engage, we work to bring connection back into later life through conversation, companionship and community — from regular phone calls to tea parties and activity groups.
If this story resonates with you, find out how you can support or volunteer with Re-engage at reengage.org.uk.
Thank you to everyone who helped with this project 🙏🏼

Thai Masculinities ✨
I’ve been sitting on this project for nearly a year now and unfortunately it’s not been given the platform I’d hoped for. I’m interested in topic of masculinity and the many forms and contexts that shape it. At the beginning of the year I travelled to Koh Pha Ngan in Thailand and photographed a series exploring Thai masculinities through the world of Muay Thai.
Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand. It’s a traditional form of martial arts often referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” and is practiced by both men and women. This series consists of the Kru’s (trainers) portraits away from the ring, in moments of rest and solitude that reveal their softer, more intimate sides. We see their slender, muscular bodies, scars, tattoos and facial hair, intwined with loved ones and performing the Wai Kru, contrasted with the tranquil tropical backdrop of the island. I explore the topic of masculinity and question how we define it in the modern day? How do we, as a Western audience, perceive these Thai men in relation to masculinity? How might our past perceptions, shaped by media portrayals and cultural narratives, influence the way we see them, before even engaging with the work?
This photo series is accompanied by a short essay which you can view here. I hope you enjoy it.

Best in Show
I spent the day in Worcestershire documenting the annual Three Counties Show, a longstanding highlight of the British rural calendar for nearly 70 years. Renowned for its agricultural displays, livestock competitions and entertainment, the event brings together communities from across the country. Here, I photographed the Hound competition which draws handlers from all over the UK. A thoroughly British day out!
Pepsi Fan Playbook x Womens Euros 2025
I was commissioned to shoot stills alongside motion for a three-part series celebrating the Women’s Euros, spotlighting female football fans across the UK.

Wireless Festival x Rockstar Energy
It’s festival season again and as usual I'm hitting up at as many as I can over the summer. Here are some of my favourites from the Wireless crowd at golden hour.
Belief & Truth, Inside the Freemasons was selected to show at Revela’t Festival in Barcelona. This years theme is “I’ve seen things you wouldn’t believe” and was on show from May 17th - June 15th. Books are available to buy from Guest Editions.
I’ve been following gardener, George at Bailiwick Blue, who grows dye materials for organic dying. Here she is harvesting Coreopsis flowers to make yellow, orange and red dyes. I plan to continue the story over the summer as more plants come into season.
Teens - I wanted to explore this transitional period of young teens coming of age through friendship and togetherness. I photographed Indie and Grace with their sisters Willow and Ruby at a sleepover in the spring hanging out, playing games and very much getting on each others nerves!
