Demonstration of manipulating shutter speed to freeze motion.
UCLA: Photography - Depth of Field
Demonstration of shallow depth of field.
UCLA: Design History - Final Project
We were tasked with recreating the key art from a current TV show, film, or video game in the aesthetic of an eminent designer. I chose to recreate Game of Thrones in the style of Saul Bass.
UCLA: Branding, Logos, and Identity Systems - Band Image Campaign
We were given a variety of photos of bands (without names or any info attached) and tasked with selecting creating a name, backstory, and brand identity for them.
UCLA: Typography - Poster (Final Project)
I designed a poster for a local charity that is near and dear to my heart - the Pacific Marine Mammal Center - that includes imagery, texture, hierarchy, and the new logotype I designed for them.

UCLA: Typography - Logotype
I redesigned the logotype for Pacific Marine Mammal Center, a lovely local organization which rescues, rehabilitates and releases marine mammals and inspires ocean stewardship through research, education and collaboration.

UCLA: Illustrator - Final Project
I designed packaging for a beauty product and then manipulated that design for display via three-point perspective.
UCLA: Typography - Word Based Compositions
I designed three compositions that explore scale, space, typographic color and texture in order to depict one of the following words: vertigo, isolation, resistance, infinite, contained, or osmosis.
UCLA: Typography - Interview Layout
We selected an interview and re-created it in a two spread/four page layout of text using a classical format. Our parameters included using black ink only and a simple typeset such as Garamond, Baskerville, Bembo, Jenson, or Benton Modern.
