After hearing he was a traveler, Su immediately gives him her full attention.

Awe-filled eyes look at the other woman. 

“Coming back home and being a hero like that. My sisters and I have heard so many stories about you, Fa Mulan.” There’s both excitement and respect radiating off the youngest. “I don’t think, I would’ve been brave enough to do something like that.”

     Her gaze would rest on her older sister with a bright curiosity as the challenge is presented. “Come on Mei, can’t you just tell me?” She pleads with the other in such a child-like manner it would cause their eldest sibling to shake her head in shame at the sight. 

   “Did you.....sneak me an extra dessert? Find something exciting? Are we going on a trip somewhere amazing? Oh, I know, did you see someone that made you smile? Are we finally getting a puppy?”

    A rare silence as she waits to see if one of her many guesses had been correct, practically bouncing on her heels.

     “We haven’t anything like what you’re wearing here, either.” Perhaps it was time for fashion to evolve into something similar, but familiar.      “Let’s swap clothes.”

     “Ah! Really!? We could?”

She’s excited now, taking a quick moment to regain her more princess-like posture, but the other’s clothing is so lovely and the idea is something that Su herself would come up with. Her sisters would be so jealous.

       “I’m sure you’re look beautiful in my dress .”

That was all it took to grab Ling’s attention and with a yelp, he stumbled over a random rock, catching himself at the last second. 

“She did?” he squawked, his face lighting up as well. “What? What? What’d she say?” Was it good? He hoped it was good! It had to be, seeing as Su was all smiles and high spirits herself! Oh, he could hardly wait for this!

    A giggle escapes the youngest princess, smile remaining on her features because Su was simply so excited. Ting-Ting had been in such a bright mood the other day that the other’s had barely been able to believe it.

   “She said that she heard you tell one of the best jokes she’d ever heard before! She tried to retell it and ended up laughing all over again.” Which had been the big surprise, since even among her sisters, the eldest at least would attempt to conceal that unique laugh of hers.

  “And then she said that you had been so funny that ‘it was adorable’’.” Or something along those lines

Hands clasped together, a grin and glimmer in the princesses eyes that can only mean she’s got news or something that she wants to tell.

      “Ting-Ting said something about you the other day.” She states in a sing-song tone, knowing that though her intentions are good, her elder sister would lose it if she found out it was being shared. “You won’t believe it.”

         Too curious for her own good, the princess’s usual cheerful demeanor has been replaced with something a bit more serious. Concern laces her features as she looks at the blonde young man. Is something wrong? {Perhaps there’s danger nearby?} Either way, Su has never felt comfortable leaving others alone {much less being being by herself in the first place.}

She’s never encountered anyone {or anything} quite like him before. “But, I hope you get what you wan. I can’t imagine what it would be like to not have emotions.” Su smiles a bit, giving a light laugh. “Why thank you. You’ve got a really unique look yourself sir.”
