"I’ve been needing a scouting buddy, how about we check out the place together?"
That sounded like a wonderful Idea to Honey, "Yeah, I'd love too."
"It is really strange… Everyone here comes from different worlds and places," Ricken explained as his gloved hands moved while he spoke. The blond before him had a childish face, and caused the Mage to misjudge Honey’s age. "Geez, people ask if it’s okay for me to walk around here, but you’re younger than me!"
"Mmm it'll be fun to learn all about everyone's homes." He was excited to learn more about the people around him, people interested him more than academics. Honey would be surprised if the other was older than him but he wanted to make sure, "Are you sure you're older than me?" He giggled. "I'm 17."
Differing personalities (Mitsukuni Haninozuka)
In his serious observations of this new place, it was clear that the strange metal castles mixed with stone pavements and stones in the walls were by far, the least odd thing about all this: there were a myriad of strange contraptions about the place he failed to recognize. What exactly was this ‘Mohomesshnger’, for one thing? It was different from the one he recalled in the school - he’d never gotten one of those, you had to buy them then - and a completely new marvel: surely nobody would mind if he pulled it apart to investigate what exactly made it tick - was it electrical magic and steel combined in some strange fashion or was dark magic involved?
Yet, the fact there were so many differing personalities in the place itself was another curious thing for his scientific mind - logically, this likely meant that the bear had dragged even more of a variety of people and personalities than he had to the school. Likely to fill this larger space, he would think.
Humming in that silent introspection, it was clear not everyone was as…reserved in their energies as he was, as a shorter person with shockingly bright blond hair darted in and out of view. What - what was the young man even doing?
"Sir…you’re going to exhaust yourself like that, or trip over. Please exercise appropriate caution!"
It probably wasn’t his business to butt in, but he couldn’t help but worry with how much the other seemed to be rushing.
He had done it, he'd found the cake. It had taken so long to find the grocery store but the smell of cake had helped lead the boy there. He was a little embarrassed when he found it though, after all it was pretty close to the apartments. There was so much cake here and yet he wasn't really willing to share, but then he had no way to bring it all back to his apartment. Honey decided to just bring them all back one by one, if he ran it wouldn't take too long.
He grabbed the first cake and ran, throwing it into his room and going back for the next. A part of him hopped his roommates wouldn't mind but most of him didn't care, as long as he had cake he'd at least have a way to pass the time in this hell hole. Grabbing the second cake he continued the process, running back and forth until he was met with the last one. Cake night tonight was going to be one of the best he's ever had.
Holding the last cake, he paused as someone called out to him, hopefully that someone wouldn't mind that he'd just taken all the cake for himself. He looked over to the source of the voice and smiled.
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Besides, this is my last trip back."
Honey giggled, taking a bite of the cake.
She turns and looks at the boy, curious why someone so small was here.
Shrugging it off, she sighs.
"Is there anything interesting to do here?"
He squeezes the rabbit in his arms tighter as he thinks, a puzzled look spreading across his face as nothing came to mind.
"I'm afraid I don't really know. I only arrived recently so I'm not so sure about what places they have here."
Incredible. Absolutely incredible! There was someone here at his eye level. Gone were the days where he had to look up during a conversation. The Mage silently said a prayer to Naga for this— pardon the phrasing— small blessing in a dark city. Brown eyes lit up when the blond smiled, and Ricken couldn’t help but smile back. "Hey! Are you new here? I don’t think I’ve seen you around the apartments before."
To say Honey was an excitable person would be an understatement, it was quite easy to tell when he was excited and right now was no exception. It wasn't that Honey was uncomfortable being short but he did get sick of it from time to time and to have met someone about his height who was also kind had the blonde bouncing on his heals. "Mhm, I only got here recently. This place is so strange."

Where was the cake? Did this place have cake? Honestly if there's no cake there's going to be a problem. In fact Honey didn't even know where to get food. The teddy bear just told him where he lived but now he was getting hungry and his sugar levels were running low. He decided to ask someone. Looking around Honey was lucky enough to spot someone just ahead of him so he ran up and tugged on the guy's sleeve. "Excuse me, do you know where to get cake around here?"

Honey had never met anyone that he could actually tap on the shoulder, it was kinda refreshing, and so he tried tapping the boys shoulder. He never thought something so simple could make him feel so accomplished. He wanted to thank the boy, but for what. He couldn't say, thanks for being just a little taller than me, he might be sensitive about that, and so Honey just smiled at him and said, "Hi!"
"I’m bored.."
He taps her on the back. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help but overhear. I'm a little bored too."
Like this post and give me cake for a small starter. I'll cap it at 3 for now.
some sort of intro thing.
