Normally, you use cabbage in pancit, I know, but, Brussels sprouts are delicious. XD

... Next time, I need to use less fish sauce; I forgot how strong that is. x'D

So.... I'm never eating these in my damn life, but... I had extra frosting. I didn't know what to do with it, so I decided to empty my piping bag. X'D

SO. I made cupcakes this morning for my mom to take to work, and I have leftover cupcakes, so Im just planning on bringing them to school. x'D Why not? Lol!

Pan Stir-Fried "Pho" - Pho Hiep, East lake

Um.... Normally delicious, but not happy tonight. :/ The noodles are crazy soggy in a way that sort of makes me sad. XD Normally I get to look forward to delicious marinated beef, with a veggie trio of Bok Choy, bean sprouts, and onions topped with cilantro.

So good. But not so much tonight.

Seared beef tenderloin with sauteed Brussels sprouts and mushrooms over a bed of garlic scalloped potatoes. :D

Not my prettiest dish, but all the components taste amazing together. I added a little pinot noir to the Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. All together? It's great. :P

I'm going to attempt a key lime chiffon cake. :o We shall see how it goes.

Pineapple Rum Cake So... My best friend kept asking me to make more rum cakes, and she suggested making pineapple ones. This lead me to create an second attempt at rum cakes; this time roasting pineapples and using that as a garnish! :P I... forgot to use Malibu rum instead of good old Captain Morgan, but next time I make these, I'll make sure to use the right rum. Not that it mattered much, though;  was told by everyone who tried them that these were amazing, and still tasted plenty like delicious pineapple!

Fruit Tarts So these are miniature, single-serve Red Wine Poached Pear and White Peach individual fruit tarts. They've been sprinkled with sugar and baked on a circle of sugar dough with a layer of frangipane; a tart filling made from almonds as a base. The top picture is an example of a plated final dessert, which is something we've been going over in class the past two weeks (yes, I am taking summer classes xD). They look yummy, don't they? :P
