Darren Sleno - Drums
Started playing drums at age 6 and gigging in his teens
20+ years of playing drums on stage in the local Club/Pub/Bar scene (Top 40 and Originals)
Member of winning bands of C-Fox’s Spotlight and The Q’s Rocktoria band competitions
Recorded on two live C-Fox broadcasts and several independent artists and personal band albums
Recorded drums for Need for Speed 2 and an NHL title (Electronic Arts)
Performed in two videos for MuchMusic (local artist) and played on a Canadian tour, backing teen pop Singer “Tiffany"
Some of the bigger venues Darren's played include Saskatoon Arena, Winnipeg Arena, Calgary Saddledome, Northlands Coliseum, Pacific Coliseum.

Our pro sound system and lights can be tailored for any size room. For those locations that require a more subtle approach, there’s an option of electronic drums to keep the volume down to where you need it to be, while still keeping the dynamics and intensity of a full band.
Cakewalk plays fun, danceable music from the 60’s to current hits, including but not limited to Soul, Funk, R&B, Disco, and Pop. Their sincere love of music shows in the way this group entertains the crowd and keeps them dancing all night with song after song of danceable grooves from the Jackie Wilson 1967 hit “Higher & Higher” to Bruno Mars “Locked Out of Heaven”.
Cakewalk also provides their wireless mic and sound system for your wedding's MC, and DJ services for those times when the perfect song is the one on your iPod. This 5 piece band has something for everyone with 4 singers doing 4 part harmonies, bass, drums, keyboards, electric and acoustic guitars, and harmonica.
Sky Wyatt - Lead and Backup Vocals
Has performed in many events and venues including main stage Plaza of Nations at the 2010 Winter Olympics, PNE Mainstage, 2010 VIMBC’s, Sunfest, The Yale, The Fairview, and Fairmont Waterfront
Currently recording his first full-length album with hit-making producer Jason Barry

The guys in Cakewalk have been working their charms in and around Vancouver since 2008, adding new songs, and finding new ways to get the audience to be a part of the show. With one great song into the next, again and again... it’s hard to stay away from the dance floor. They love performing, and it shows.
