Eren Snippet #6 : Partial Transformation
Before levi started explaining his plan y/n felt nervous for eren . “I came up with a way that that'd only kill him partially” sayuki had her arms crossed levi stepped forward continuing where he left off. I said that I could only stop him like Titans if I killed him” walking towards the chalkboard in what seems to be a classroom the captain began to draw a figure .
“But this method will only hurt him badly. Of course, it depends on the skill of the squad.. The idea is to cut him directly from the neck of the Titan. We'd end up cutting off the ends of his arms and legs, but they'd just grow back lizard style .. creepy little bastard “ worried for his well being y/n voiced her concern “ captain levi wait, we don’t know how exactly they’d grow back isn’t there another way?”. “y/n i get how you feel about this but are you saying you don’t want there to be any danger or sacrifice ?” with her lieutenant waiting for y/n’s response the girl answered slowly “N-No but” with a stern look sayuki continued “ then just let him resolve it , and we’ll do the same .. The danger for us is that you might kill us, so don't worry”. “y-yes lieutenant “ both reluctantly agreed . “S-So then i can do experiments “ ‘they’re practically drooling at this point ‘ while sayuki loved her friend’s curious head of theirs it’s what made them tick she couldn’t help but show an awkward smile towards them ‘hange, you’re such an enigma’ . the section commander caught on and showed the petite woman a cheeky smile . “It’s risky but that doesn’t mean we can’t use him for experiments “. the captain stated matter of factly . “oh don’t worry i have a plan .. eren if there’s something that doesn’t make sense to you then you’ll learn how to understand it.. it’s well worth any risk of our lives”. In the afternoon, (Y/n), Hanji, Louis and Levi were around a well in the green plains, looking down at Eren, who was at the bottom. “ Ready, Eren? When it's prepared, I'll use the smoke round to notify you “ explaining what’ll happen understanding what he was told eren nodded raining his hand while shouting in the well “ready when you are commander!!”. hange then goes to grab their flare gun and fire the green smoke in the air, indicating for Eren to begin. ‘That's the signal..’He mumbles, gazing down at his hand ‘Since I sealed the wall, I haven't tried to control the Titan..If I lose control, the levi squad might kill me this time’. He brings his hand to his mouth and bites on it. all of them were in a good distance, waiting for Eren's transformation to occur. “Lieutenant did eren not see the signal?”sayuki shook her head disagreeing with the teenage girl . “No, it’s something else.. it could be that his ability just isn’t that reliable “. sighing in defeat , levi, sayuki and hange trotted their horses to the well while y/n ran looking for her lover shouting the news “ Eren! we’re calling it quits for now “. while hange was confused on what’s going on y/n’s eyes dilated looking at her beloved’s hand seeing bites while blood dripped from his mouth . eren looked up at the section commander with utter confusion “hange i can’t turn into a titan”. After retrieving Eren from the well, the group decided to rest by sitting down on outdoor tables, drinking tea. y/n bandaged eren’s hands, but he got flustered when she felt Eren's gaze on her. She looked up to see Eren's eyes on her, a small blush appearing on her cheeks as she quickly looked away,causing a smile to appear on his lips. “so your titan wounds haven’t healed yet?” nodding up and down both of the young lovebirds heard sayuki mutter “what a pain “. “If you can't transform into a Titan, our main goal of sealing Wall Maria is off the table. This is an order jaeger make it happen” with eren nodding nervously both sayuki and him turn around walking to another part of the room with a cup of tea in their hands. with eld trying to comfort the boy eren couldn’t help but feel defeated y/n then held his hand showing her a small smile. “ Well, it just means you're more human than I thought “ Oluo blurts out, making eren turn to his new comrade. Interjecting eld added his opinion “It’s better than rushing into something and getting killed.. this isn't meaningless”. gunther nods, furrowing his eyebrows together “ yeah we can’t be too careful”.
“I don’t understand why are all of you so calm? Is everyone ok with eren’s inability to transform?” sighing at their lack of answering her y/n sees eren trying to pick up his spoon but it drops onto the grass due to the pain on his hand that he inflicted earlier. “are you ok ? “ touching his hand eren nodded to his lover silently telling her he’s fine she showed the brunette a small smile . looking down at the ground she noticed the spoon lying there. y/n leans down and picks up the spoon, before turning to Eren with a smile “ here you go”.. Eren gave his usual smiles that makes y/n’s heart skip a beat . right before he could grab it she drops the utensil seeing a small electric shock [Eren]: Thank you...As soon as he touches, a small electric shock surrounds them both as their eyes open. Then an electric field was formed around them both, causing everyone who was sitting by him zooming away. with smoke billowing into the sky, it drew the attention of the soldiers around the area. turning around both sayuki and levi’s eyes widened with pure shock as their breaths hitched . the smoke began to clear, half of a titan’s was revealed. showing an arm attached to the titan’s body. at a complete loss eren tried to voice his concern before his lieutenant interrupted “what the hell?! why n-?!” “eren calm down”. looking at her captain .. sayuki saw levi raise his right arm in an atempt to stand down and collect themselves before acting rashly . every single one of them ,looked at eren with a terrifying and dangerous look while they sweated. as the sound rung out, Hanji and moblit, exited the forest of big trees in question. “what? what was that sound?”Hanji's eyes widen with excitement as it took over, making them jump in the air with utter joy on their face . shaking his head moblit smiled awkwardly finding the eccentric brunette unbelievable. Petra, Gunther, Oluo and Eld cornered the boy in a circle while Levi tried to calm them down. y/n tried to get his arm out of the titan’s flesh, but he couldn't. ‘fuck that stings!’ retracting her hand away from her boyfriend before she’d actually have an injury . “Eren what’s the meaning of this?!”Shrieks Eld, who sweats viciously. raising a brow in pure confusion the boy managed to voice that feeling “sir?” did i stutter? of all times why now? without permission? well? answer me!”
getting in front of her boyfriend y/n attempted to defend the boy she cherishes “s-sir wait! eren didn’t mean to -“Answer him, Eren, what were you thinking?!” both teenagers were at a loss for words at how suddenly the tables had turned on them. “No, that can wait” gunther walks towards the two , gripping his swords tightly while continuing to shout . “prove that you are not our enemy, the enemy of humanity!”. “Eren glances around with unease as gunther continues to scream at him . “prove it now!! as of right now he is his own responsibility!”. “ I challenge you to make one movement with that arm ! I’ll cut off his head!”y/n gasps at olulo’s words. as does Eren, who gasped, looking at him over his shoulder . “ I can do it..I'm serious! wanna try me?” growing tired of this sayuki rubbed her temples in irritation. “damn it olulo, calm the fuck down the captain already told you earlier!!” . “captain .. lieutenant ! get away from eren! both of you are too close!”. both refused to back away “no, you’re the one who should get back. back away now” completely unbothered levi instructed with a commanding presence. “but why?!” petra shrieked stunned why her superior would order them to do that . growing tired of the situation sayuki began to order their subordinates brashly without screaming at them “for gods sake petra, use that head of yours neither of the captain’s or my intuition are ever wrong.. i suggest for everyone to use their damn heads”. although sayuki never yelled at them when talking they could still feel those intimidating eyes burning them. all kf them started asking many questions non-stop, making both eren and y/n more nervous while sweating. eren clenches his teeth trying and failing to pull his arm out of the titan’s flesh levi looks at everyone rolling his eyes with his face showing that he is so done with this . “Everyone just shut the hell up !”.. superior or not y/n glared at four of the veterans excluding the captain and the lieutenant. they all stop their yelling and turn to face the two. from the distance, Hange charges straight over to eren, grinning madly. enthusiastic as what they’re seeing hange practically had stars in their eyes “Eren!“hange pushes a few soldiers away and begins to beg ..” can i touch that arm?!”. beginning to drool hange pressed forward “It's ok, right? Right?! Just let me touch it!” before eren could finish warning them hange presses their hands against the titan’s fleshy hand which burns them . sayuki and levi sweat dropped at their over eccentric friend both thinking at the same time with deadpan expressions ‘he tried to warn you shitty glasses’. the over enthusiastic section commander dancing in glee . “Without the skin, it's really damned hot! Unbelievably hot!”.
while trying to regulate his breathing moblit tried to scold hange “section commander that was very reckless of you!”. as if they didn’t hear moblit hange pestered eren with loads of questions. “don't you feel it's hot, Eren? How does it feel where the right hand connects? I really want to see!”. Hanji exclaims as Eren looks down on his hand. “That's right, If I pull out this hand”. eren goes back onto pulling his arm struggling once more. groaning in irritation at the stubborn arm”stupid thing!”. Oluo becomes alerted, still gripping his blades “Hey, Eren, don’t do anything rash!”. Eren was fighting it until finally, he managed to get his right arm out, eren fell back, but he fell onto the ground with force. y/n looks at him worriedly while she pulls him back up to stand the boy with green/teal eyes that she adores his eyes softened for her grateful that she was by his side the entire time. meanwhile the body began to steam as hange cried, holding its head. “Wait.. what?! that was way too fast! I still wanted to investigate some things”.
hange stops their panicking once they noticed the bent spoon. Levi turned to eren while he was breathing hard. “Get off there eren” He told her, eren nods while he sweats. sayuki walks forward and approaches eren as he leans on his knees and pants. eren looks at sayuki out of the corner of his eye. after eren went through all that stress sayuki rubbed his back tenderly while the petite woman crouched down. knowing she needed to show this titan boy her warm gentle side of her “ eren how do you feel ?”still huffing the boy answered honestly “n-not so good lieutenant “. worried that this 15 year old kid might collapse soon sayuki bent down and picked up the kid with no difficulty . Almost everyone except levi zoomed backwards with their mouths hanging down y/n was surprised as well but didn’t overreact like the whole squad did. “L-Lieutenant ! please don’t..i’m too heavy for-“. “honestly you’re not even that heavy “.. “I’ve taken guys down bigger than you “. “you mean the titans right”. not bothering to elaborate sayuki answered with a simple “no”. confusing the entire team .. with dimbfounded faces . levi gave no reaction to the conversation those two had while the four of them went outside . putting the brunette teenager down gently y/n intertwined her hand with his kissing the back of that hand . once they had their little moment both of the young lovebirds showed a melancholy expression . “Until we saw that they were actually ready to kill me, we didn't understand. that they doubted me so much”. “Of course they did that’s why I chose them”. while levi stated matter of factly sayuki sighed and tried a different approach with a gentle softer tone for the titan boy “eren listen, people say you truly become a full member of the scouts after making it back alive from a mission. but whenever you fight the Titans, you never have enough information. there are too many situations you just can't anticipate, no matter what.. all if them had to cultivate the ability to take quick action and to make ruthless decisions by assuming the worse case scenario.. but that doesn't mean they've became heartless. it isn’t like they felt nothing when they turned their swords at you”.eren finally smiled at his superior for understanding how he felt . “Captain Levi”. moblit says, opening the door . “section commander hange wants to see you”. heading back inside y/n, eren , sayuki and levi headed towards the dining room to see everyone gathered around a table. Levi was the first to enter,next was sayuki, y/n and finally eren who had closed the door. “Take a long crap?”. Levi questions sarcastically as Hanji just shrugs their shoulders. “actually it was pleasently quick, I wasn't sure what to tell the brass”. hange holds up a wrapped up cloth “but for now”. they place it back on the table and unfold it revealing the spoon from earlier. “look at this” slightly tilting her head sayuki says flatly “hange it’s just a teaspoon” “ yes, it’s the same spoon that the right hand titan that eren created was holding this. like this, between its index finger and thumb. It's hard to imagine that was an accident... and for some reason, the heat and pressure didn't warp the spoon at all. does anything come to mind?” Hanji states, looking up at Eren as he sweats a bit . y/n she tried handing it to me as I went to grab it.. but i transformed right at that moment”. Hange nods, returning their gaze at the spoon “I see... that may explain why you couldn't transform earlier. "Kill the Titans", "Block the cannon shell", "Lift the boulder", In each case, you had a clear goal in mind before you transformed. my theroy is that your self-inflicted injury probably isn’t the sole trigger .. you might need a goal as well”. although he nodded agreeing to hange he couldn’t help but wonder something .“It's true that when I turned into a titan this time, it was like when I blocked that cannon shell. but then.. i turned into a titan to retrieve a spoon? What the hell does that mean”as he furrowed his brows it didn’t make any sense why all that happened just to pick up a spoon .
. “ I don't understand either eren “ they say while placing their hand on their chin. “It's been two times that you transformed right”. “So in other words, he didn’t transform without permission?”. showing gunther a smile she nodded “that’s right”. Gunther sighs and turns to Eld, who turns to Oluo, who turns to Petra as they all bring their hands to their mouths and bitting down on it hard, making Hange slightly confused while Levi and Sayuki just looked at the four in silence.” damn that hurts” “ holy shit , i’m amazed that he can bite all the way through” both eld and gunther we’re perplexed at the newbie . “we’ve made the wrong choice.this is a small price to pay. not that it makes much of a difference”. “keeping you under control is our job , And there's nothing wrong with that.. so don't get cocky!”. ‘unbelievable’, sayuki mentally facepalmed herself rolling her eyes with a playful glare .. she nearly smiled at olulo for actually bothering to be somewhat nice to the titan kid but alas he blew it by trying to imitate the captain.
