From Where They Stand. || Jason and Barbara.
Jason followed Barbara back to where they had left the bikes. He looked at her one more time and determined that she was fit to ride, then hopped onto his red Ducati.
“Lead the way, love.” He radioed to Batgirl through the transmitter in his helmet, just before firing up his bike. He didn’t wait for a response, instead ordering his interface to contact Kara Zor-El.
“Kara, I know its been a while since we talked but I need your help. I need you to meet me in Gotham. Soon. Its extremely imprtant, and it involves Luthor.” He left the message and looked back at the woman in the black suit and cowl in front of him. “Whenever you are ready, take it as slow as you need to. I know you took some pretty serious hits back there.”
Lead the way.
Batgirl sighed, though not through her communicator, shaking her head in slight. Starting up her bike and heading out, the young vigilante made careful use of balance as she began to pick up speed, her cape fluttering behind her. Sleet had started to fall again, negating the patches of snow that had gathered on the ground, turning them into ice and causing her to draw a curve short of her own street and towards the nearest of Jason’s “secret” safehouses.
Nothing was a secret to Barbara Gordon.
She parked as discreetly as possible, waiting for the Red Hood to arrive as she stepped clear of the vehicle and adjusted her cowl, cutting the transmitter and locator off... just in case. No need for Bruce to be snooping about.
