Please help me go into remission from Type II diabetes

Hello everyone, I am so sorry to remake this post, but I am very scared. I am experiencing embarassing and vulnerable symptoms- my type II diabetes is becoming progressive, and I am desperate to go into remission. It has affected my liver and my heart, and neuropathy has made me partially incontinent. On April I was hospitalized twice. I have no thyroid, and without medication, it will put me into a myxedema coma and will kill me within days. Hypothyroidism and type II diabetes is making it very difficult for me to find work, as I am from the global south (the Philippines), with government aid only covering 20,000 pesos (around 326 usd) a year. I am the only person in my family who can work; my mother is paralyzed from a brain injury, and my sister is autistic with a very low frustration threshold. I need help covering for my new medication, as I now take metformin twice a day, and phosphates to help with my liver and kidneys, and b complex to help bolster my immune system. Im sorry I keep remaking this post, I am alone and desperate. Community is all I have. Thank you so much for your endless grace and compassion.

Heard back from the drs and got the lab test interpretations. Its like a. "Not the worst news in the world , but the prognosis rn is not good either" situation. Mom's liver could go into cirrhosis because of three factors. That she has gallstones, insulin resistance from diabetes and non alcoholic steatotic liver disease. They also can not do surgery on her to remove the gallstones because my mom's diabetes is severe and has had some several, irreversible effects on her body. Very sorry. If you guys could please pray for me and my family's safety I would appreciate it so much. If you guys could please share my donation tip jar and prints store it would also be very helpful. Mom's endocrinologist is hopeful we can find alternative treatments through the help of modern medicine. Rn mom has walking pneumonia and is on antibiotics. Please, anything helps. My mother is unable to move independently due to nerve and brain injury from sepsis. My father has chronic heart condition and kidney failure, and my sister is autistic with a very low frustration threshold. Am the only one who works. I am not able to get the help I need without this community.

Good morning everyone! Writing to you straight from the hospital with an update. We already managed to raise almost 2.000 USD. In just 12 hours! I am honestly floored by your generosity and kindness, thank you all so, so, so much🥺! I was checked in today to get prepped for the surgery tomorrow, which now has been postponed to Thursday, due to the anaesthesiologist being out of the house, yippee🤧. Freaking out still, but reasing your comments and encouragements helps a little. Hello everyone. I'm absolutely terrified to open up about this, but I am having surgery on my thyroid to remove a goiter that has become very large / given me problems eating and breathing in general. My ocd is going crazy and catastrophizing;, I have been neglecting my health for five years until I experienced some symptoms that terrified me. My dr. Advised me that I will need two types of surgeons, one an ENT and one a thoracic surgeon. I am going to make a formal fundraiser very soon, but I was informed by my Dr. That the overall cost of this surgery (plus recovery) will be around 700,000 pesos- almost 13,000 usd. That is. My wages of three whole years. I am from the global south, in the philippines, and my wages are far smaller compared to my peers in the global north. My insurance is trying to cover around 40,000-80,000 pesos, I am unsure yet. Right now, I am unable to work all three of my jobs because I needed to do a ton of tests and resting, my new meds making me extremely drowsy as I was also diagnosed with type II diabetes and hypertension (?). I still am the only person in my family who can work- my mother is completely unable to move independently due to nerve damage from sepsis, she is legally blind and a full time wheelchair user. my father is very very immunocompromised due to heart disease and kidney failure, and my younger sister is autistic, with a low frustration threshold. Since Early April, I have had no income as I was in and out of the hospital; thanks to everyone's generous donations for my teeth that I am now allocating for this surgery instead, insurance, and my lovely friend Mango's large donation, I have been able to eat well, and cover about 12%-15% of my upcoming surgery's fund. Am trying to build up more breathing room for my gofundme, as it is common practice for philippine hospitals to prevent patients from leaving without having paid in full. I am humbly begging for everyone to please help me, Because I have not been working and will be unable to work for a couple of weeks. this is the most terrifying thing I have ever gone through, and I have been ignoring it for the past 5 years ♡ if you are blessed with disposable income and a generous heart, please send it my way! It means the whole world to me.

This is my uncle, he has been homeless and struggling nearly all his life, and he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The gofundme is organized by my aunt, and I have so many followers on tumblr that helped me fund my mom's surgery and my close friend Allanah's own cancer treatment, I figured I could share this here bc of my large following. I've sold my own bike to help just with some of his medication, but rn am currently struggling as I am the sole caretaker of my own disabled mother, father and younger sister. Hi guys- so. Gofundme doesn't work in the Philippines, so I had to arrange this on fundrazr, where PayPal works! No account needed- it's where I also fundraised surgery for my dad.

It would mean everything if you guys could please, please, once more spare me a reblog.. would much appreciate it.

I had some funds saved via commissions back in March, but they have been depleted because I did not account for her care after surgery- and because it kept getting delayed because they kept needing additional lab tests from her. Mom has preexisting conditions, like her kidneys are very weak, she is prone to seizures due to a brain injury from a sudden sepsis attack a few years ago, and she has diabetes.

Im sincerely n humbly asking for mutual aid.

I'm a disabled trans guy from the global south. Don't have a car, and I have been taking care of my family ever since I was a teenager all by myself- I have three jobs at the moment, but none of them are stable incomes, and because out of all four of us, I am the only one who works, I've been living paycheck to paycheck due to both my parents medical and day to day needs. hello, I absolutely hate to do this Again.. this is a bit of a panicked post bc I was given such a short notice, but I have about 20 folks in queue for commissions and I work two other jobs.. my work at publishing is not stable and my sister's high-school just informed me I have until May 20 to cough up 700 usd, which was the accumulation of missed payments in the span of two years..... - I only have 600 usd in savings, and 400-500 usd is for my mom's ongoing glaucoma and diabetes treatments as her vision is worsening- if I didn't have such a big backlog of work I absolutely would just take in more commissions; but I am super overworked- I am the only one in a family of four disabled people- my mom has very limited movement due to a brain injury from sepsis, my dad has a chronic heart condition and my sister is autistic with a super low frustration threshold.. a lot of the house's paperwork falls on me, so. I have no idea what to do or where to get funds in such short notice. Hey friends! So, This has 1k reblogs, but I am editing this on March 31, Philippines time (which means I am 1 day ahead of US folk)- It would really mean the world to me if you guys could please please reblog this! It’s my birth month tomorrow, and my bday wish is stability TuT

I am in desperate need of help.

On March 17, My sister was sick for two weeks due to acute Laryngitis. On March 19, my mom lost all vision on one of her eyes, and we had to go to several drs until one took her pain seriously and finally diagnosed her with Glaucoma. 4 days ago, mom was taken in for emergency surgery, but ultimately she was sent home bc the pressure on her eyes were so high that they could not operate on her; So she was sent back home to make herself stable and prepare for operation; Her one eye is constantly swollen and very red, And she is in so much pain she cannot eat bc of her nausea; On March 29, I had to go to the dentist because I had a cavity that cracked my teeth in half and the pain on it was unbearable; And finally, yesterday, I had to take my dog to the vet because he was looking under the weather ):.. Needless to say.. March has been extremely hard on me, and tomorrow, we will go back to the doctor to see if my mom can be operated on. I only have 400 usd saved / to spare, and the estimated cost of her surgery is 1,000 usd (please keep in mind we are not from the US), and I am still unsure if she will be confined after her surgery. I am opening my portrait commissions, each portrait would be 65 usd-

I specialize in drawing fantasy ocs, though I am just about willing to draw anything as long as it’s legal atp. my mom is crying bc she can't see bc of diabetes, and the Dr's im taking her to won't do anything bc they say she's too weak, or something like that, I don't know what to do, I am the only person in my family who is "able bodied" enough to take her back and forth bc she is a full time wheelchair user and my sister is a minor and everyone else is disabled with limited movement.. I'm absolutely losing my mind, I'm so so broke, and I have so much work, and I'm on the verge of a mental breakdown, is there anyone at all who can offer me advice on what to do or any kind words, or encouragement, I feel so sick and hopeless

I went to a different Dr on the day I posted this and this time we have found someone who was more sympathetic to our situation. They diagnosed my mom with Glaucoma and provided her with medicine for the meantime.

She's due to return on the first of April, which is my birth month 🥹

I've had a couple of folks asking if I could open my tipping jar here, and any sort of help is a relief. I Spent around 100 usd in total getting my mom back and forth the hospital and her initial new diagnoses, and for the meds.. My sister is recovering from acute laryngitis, and I'm just, well, recovering from a mental breakdown from all this. I'm in no position to refuse help, and anything at all, even just a kind word, a share, a dollar, or words of encouragement is deeply appreciated. I currently work three jobs, and I sell prints and do commissions, so if you'd like to support me and my art, I'll be making a separate post for my art samples and commission rates. Hopefully with this new Dr they won't require us to go through another round of lab tests and we can finally have a solution / closure with what's going on with my mom's health..

in the meantime, if anyone wants to send me tips and any breathing room as I steel myself for my mom's next Dr's appt, it is so so appreciated. my mom is a survivor of sepsis, and is a full time wheelchair user; my dad is chronically ill and my sister is autistic with a very low frustration threshold.

I am the only one in a family of 4 who can work; I am my family's sole breadwinner and caretaker. I currently have three jobs, one at publishing, another drawing for indie games and book covers, and another as freelancer; I work 9 hours almost every day of the week, but bc both my parents have a plethora of health issues and need constant medical attention, I am barely making a livable wage; From my mom's last tests, we also found out that her kidneys are weak and so is one of her lungs. My mom also says she has gone completely blind in her one eye; according to the dr it was likwly because of her diabetes. After her bday, we would like to see if something can still be done aboit her eye, and what else can we do for her kidneys, and maybe some breathing room for me; I have not had a day off from work since January 6, and before that I only got days off on the holidays T ~ T

Hey guys, posting this here in case anyone would be interested in helping out. Due to the recent storms in the philippines, parts of our house has been rotting away bc of leaks. Our house is 30 years old and mostly made of wood, n we've been slowly repairing it; but bc of the rising prices of everything.. it's been hard to keep up. Im sharing my tipping jar in Case anyone would like to send any of their disposable income. I know everyone else is having a very difficult time so I understand if I won't get much. If anyone at all has anything to spare I'd be eternally appreciative. I work three jobs, all of them are related to art, but one of them is very labor intensive and rely on a lot of crunch time.. I'd prefer to work for money but bc all three of my family members are disabled and I'm the only one who is physically and mentally able to work.. Hi guys. Sharing this again. It would mean the world to me if anyone with any spare resources can help me foot the accumulation of this month and last month's electricity bills. My mom is losing vision in one of her eyes and has been in and out of the hospital due to her diabetes and its been a lot to pay for all alone as we've been trying out a bunch of different tests to determine what else could be making her sick. The accumulation is 7,980 pesos, or 135 usd and 95 cents.
