Just a quickie, I plan to add Valko to my bathroom series too ❤️

You know what? I feel compelled to add on to my last post. This was a HORRIBLE move for the writing.

For those who don't know, each of the LIs have been mapped to one of the six realms of samsara - as the story has gone one, that's become more and more obvious. Xavier represents the realm of humanity, Zayne represents the realm of demigods, Rafayel represents the realm of the gods, Sylus represents the realm of the underworld, and Caleb represents the realm of ghosts/the undead. Valko was supposed to represent the realm of the animals.

The point of this was that they all tied to MC in some way, the current theory being that she is all of creation,and all of the boys represent a facet of the world. It is sooooo obvious that a 6th LI was always planned - there were always six stellactrum and it was apparent that each color mapped to one of the boys.

So! Canceling Valko actively erases much of the symbolism in the story. If they stop "all further development" as they stated they would, I wouldn't be surprised if the quality of the writing goes DOWN. Sylus and Caleb's stories would probably be strongly impacted, since the "dark trio" would never be complete. They write and develop story elements 1-2 years in advance, so this pivot would derail so much. I genuinely can't believe they made this decision, it's incredibly stupid from a business perspective and means they're sacrificing the majority of the fandom for a very loud minority.

I'm pissed because this will affect the entire damn game. It's not just Valko, it's the rest of the storyline from now on. It's the storylines of the other LIs, since this game tends to casually insinuate things about the other boys even in the chapters that aren't focused on them. Valko's story probably would have revealed a bit about EVER - which connects to all of the boys - and now that's lost to us.

Do never get this livid when it comes to fiction, but this was such an incredibly stupid and impulsive response from the devs. I've seen some games collapse due to devs and marketing teams that lack the courage to stick to their story, and I'm getting war flashbacks (/lh) with LADS right now.

Brb, changing my account to be Valko ONLY until they reintroduce him. Boycotting. Not spending another cent until they fix their fuckup and if they never do then I'll never touch this game again. I'm sorry Caleb but I want all 6 of my promised boyfriends.

A message from a Caleb main.

All of you who got Valko cancelled should be disappointed in yourselves and should have the game taken off of you for your own sanity.

I am obviously not happy about the lack of content that Caleb has, but completely denying an entire demographic of a love interest that suits them because you are being selfish? Honestly, it's an entirely different level of stupid.

Yes, INFOLD should have introduced the main story updates for Caleb and Sylus FIRST. I won't deny it would've been a smarter move, but after the announcement there were so many people who were overjoyed with the introduction of Valko, including myself, that I could look past it for now with the guarantee that we would be getting a main story update for the other two love interests by the end of the year.

But to get not only a love interest cancelled but any further love interests cancelled??? You have single-handedly killed this game. You have killed the ability to grow the game for other consumers. And as Caleb girlies we already experienced the level of hate for liking the character we liked, and rather than be kind and support the new love interest for the people who wanted him, you chose to act up? This doesn't mean we're going to get the content we want, you realize that, correct? It might even limit the amount of content that they had planned to include Caleb in. It might even change how the main story was supposed to go and they'll have to rewrite it delaying it even further!

This was such sheer stupidity. And global fans are absolutely disappointed. All because some fans couldn't get their heads out of their ass about their mains...

I pray they go back on this decision but I feel like they won't. And if that's the case, likely I'm going to delete this game. Because I don't want to be part of a project that doesn't actually give a fuck about ALL OF THEIR FANS. If they did they wouldn't have cancelled Valko after the positive feedback from the global fans. It's clear they only care about the Chinese players opinions, and don't take into account how this will affect the rest of their player base.

If you were part of the reason this happened, please go touch some grass. The level of parasocialism is concerning.

Don't know when I'll ever finish this so just gonna share what I did do 🫣

seeing the difference between exclusive aftertaste and indulgent scheme and seeing how much their relationship progressed. the way he starts breakfast in EA alone, fully ready to start the day after having slept on her couch, barely rested bc not knowing where he stood with her kept him up all night. vs in IS where he’s half naked, proudly showing what they’ve been up to the previous night, relaxed and waiting for her.

in EA she avoids eye contact and there’s this tension bc he wants her to look at him and confront whatever’s going on, he wants her to be at ease around him, touch him and annoy him like she used to do, but she’s not doing any of it so he kind of has to force his way into her space, needle her to get a reaction.

meanwhile in IS she’s all over him, annoying him while he wants to finish cooking, jumping on him and he loves it, indulges her, involves her in the process and once his hands are free he doesn’t spare a second before he’s touching up on her too. they’re finally where he always wanted to be. with her, in her space, while she’s clinging to him and wanting and needing him. he’s finally able to provide true comfort and love a for her in the way he’s always wanted. you can tell he’s so happy and at ease in this kindled because he’s made it.
