"Aah… Rather interesting conversation tonight, hm?"
"Mind the kids…"
"You'd be surprised what kids hear nowadays."
"With the Internet, and all. Not like that really helps much, but, hey. I'm sure plenty of people here have heard or even seen worse."
"You know, I doubt anybody cares Araragi-kun."
"Oi, Kaiki."
"There's plenty out there who appreciate flowers like that as well. There's even plenty of people out there who appreciate roses, and so on-- but I'm not a connoisseur for those kind of flowers."
shslsyoko replied to your post:“You know…” “I always did love lilies.”
(blows nose on ahoge)
"You know..."
"I always did love lilies."
"Yes, I think so, too."
"However, I have my hands plenty full already. That aside, I truly do urge you to appreciate your siblings more. I’m certain they appreciate you, as well, no matter how scarcely they show it."
Got them at Victoria’s Secret.
"Hah, good one."
"I barely get along with my family. But, they're still my family. It's not like I don't appreciate them... most of the time."
"Yes, that’s true. They may also fight over the pastries at dinner, scheme together to wake their maid up at unreasonable hours of the morning, or knock the vases over during a petty fight…"
"…but at the end of the day, they truly do love their family. I am far too busy to handle a sibling, but the two I know do warm my heart."
"... That's right. That's how sisters are."
"Sounds like you'd be able to handle siblings a lot better than I would. Seeing as you're probably good at handling people."
Seeing as she's a maid and all. With authentic maid panties--

"I don’t have any siblings, but it might be nice to have a sister, perhaps."
"…On second thought, I think we already have enough sisters at home."
"There's nothing that great about having a sister, trust me."
"They're loud, obnoxious, always waking you up in the morning, always getting in trouble, and so on. Sisters are a handful."
"Ah, how do I put this..."
"Taking someone's panties and hand delivering them to everyone in the city just isn't right. What's the fun in that? That completely destroys the satisfaction of achieving them yourself."
Because that's what mattered most, right about now.
"..."
Something felt all too familiar within Araragi Koyomi. There was... an urge. A craving within him. One he had not experienced for quite some time. That hunger which only continued to grow within the teenager was just so familiar...
... Ah. That's right.
He knew this sensation. Really, he knew it all too well.
"Why..."
"Why am I turning back in to a vampire...!?"

▶ water wall. [ fantasia event + koyomi ]
Her fingertips glowed bright blue and she drew ansuz, a rune shaped like an “F”, in the air. Green flames engulfed from the kelpie’s head and neck, burning away the silvery mane. One eye melted away and dribbled down its muzzle. It shrieked again and stomped wildly as the stench of charred horse meat pervaded. Bazett too was up on her feet and leaped back, her face relieved to see the boy awake, his voice clear. “Gods, you’re all right!”
Soon the flames shrank into flickers no bigger than those of candles. Ansuz could neither incinerate the kelpie to ashes nor frighten it back into the fog and the sídhe only flared burnt nostrils, half-blind and enraged. She cursed the limits of her magecraft and balled her hands into tight fists.
By herself, Bazett would have taken the risk to engrave her last two runes on her gloves and pray that one solid blow on its head would shatter its skull. But now that an innocent was involved, does she fight or fly?
“Can you fight at all? Or are we going to have to run?” Bazett asked in an urgent whisper. As the kelpie flicked its ears back and forth to hear for the two’s footsteps, the magus stuck one arm protectively in front of the other. Suddenly, the kelpie dropped its head forward and bared its teeth and exposed the sclera of the one good eye. Dread spread through her like ink and the monstrosity charged blindly. Bazett exclaimed, “Better make your choice now!”
Could he fight? Arguably.
Araragi Koyomi had taken some lessons in karate, but was he actually useful in a fight? That was... highly debatable. For in the instances he did fight, the former vampire always ended up as a mess. Unfortunately for his body, that did little to deter him from staying out of fights. And today was no exception.
Especially with the thought of this thing hurting someone, much like it had attempted to do to himself. As such... he answered in action, and not words.
It was a fight or flight reaction for a fight or flight situation.
"Let's go!"
Passing the arm of the magus, Koyomi dashed forth in an unrelenting and impetuous manner-- his hands having dived to the katana sheathed at his side, weapon soon drawn.
Thinking about it, whoever she was, his savior there had certainly seemed capable of herself. ... But being the man that he was, he couldn't stand by and let her do all the work. It wouldn't be right. He owed her. And if either of the two had to be hurt in this fight, the more preferably choice in the matter was himself.
And as Koyomi charged, the kelpie soon shifted it's attention towards him as he thrust his blade towards the beast...
"Gagh--!"
... And was soon knocked away after a successfully landing a decent hit. One that wasn't enough to stagger it, and one that was enough to cause Koyomi to effectively distract it for Bazett at the cost of a bleeding skull from a hooved kick his face.
Does it hurt if I say being immortal is convenient?

"If you’re a little dizzy you’ve probably had a lot of blood loss." Josuke responded. "Sit down. I’ll go fetch some water."
"... You're probably right. You don't have to do that, though. I should be fine in a little bit..."
He wouldn't die from wounds like these ... Probably. Either way, Koyomi sat down anyways-- rubbing his head matted with blood.
"... Ah... alright, maybe some water would be nice."
