ace
Ace trusted her sister, without fail. There was no questioning the amount of love she withheld for her — this was evidently a difficult situation. The younger sister knew she disclosing all of the information wasn’t entirely the most intelligent, but she had little desire to keep it a secret. “I guess we have a thing? I’m not sure.” It was so much more difficult than Ace ever knew possible. The younger Bordeaux grabbed a bottle, unscrewing the cap. “Let’s just change the subject.”
Now this was certainly interesting. It was almost written in the books that the Bordeaux and Davenport families were meant to be at each other’s throats; or at least that’s how it was at one time. But a thousand years saw to change that, in many ways. “A thing, huh?” She canted her head, studying her sister. “And what happened to the other one? The raggedy long haired one?” As if she didn’t remember Asher’s name. “You can’t just drop a bomb like that and expect me to switch the subject. It’s like you don’t even know me,” she teased with a smile.
