Her life was perfect. It’s become such an elaborate lie, no one would believe the truth if she told it. However, Calliope’s true childhood was a much darker, and much more traumatizing truth. She’s never really been able to bring herself to truly speak about it. Long story short, it was filled with abuse, both physical and emotional, lies, drugs, and homelessness. Her birth parents are not people she will ever associate herself with, nor the rest of her family. It’s just been Calliope since she was able to get emaciated from her family. And that’s not even her real name.
After her emancipation, Calliope changed her name officially, and lived in Louisville, Kentucky for a short time. It was a good place to start a music career and get her bearings. Affordable place to live as well. Once her music got traction, she moved to California to truly get things up and running. She started recording, and recorded 6 songs that took her about 4 years and a move to New York City to release out of fear that her past life would come find her. Now, she doesn’t fear that anymore, but does fear that people will find out what her life used to look like before the music and before the fame.
She recently moved to Snowbury, as the small town life was always something she craved. She commutes to record and travels a lot for work, but she is happy to call Snowbury home. She has a new song coming out soon, and is spending a lot of time promoting and teasing it.
