I had a strong porn addiction because I was groomed as a child and was made to watch them for obvious reasons. and I literally just hopped to hentai, then to ecchi and then to making my own nsfw art if I /really/ want it and then dropped it all in like a year.

And even now, if I really, really get the urge to watch/see something pornographic, I make my own. I write my own fics and I make my own art. In the worst of my “give ins” I still only read a vanilla hentai. Which I haven’t had any of those give ins in a very long time.

Stopping porn addiction isn’t impossible, if you have trauma you are able to consult a psychologist who will refer you to a capable and specialized therapist who will help you quit it. But general porn addiction CAN be ditched in your own home, it just takes time and effort. And the actual desire to stop.

I stopped before I knew even the genuine evilness of porn. Because it’s not only human trafficking that goes behind the scene. Your brain begins normalizing this behavior and considers it the base line for your limits which makes further abuse possible.

I also understand that orgasms do calm down certain issues, and can be used to cope. but you can have an orgasm without porn. In fact, you can indulge your own sexuality with yourself without needing human trafficked pornography which makes your issues worse.

Pornography is bad for you, bad for everyone. It’s evil, it’s human beings being abused for monetary gain. It fucks up your brain, your expectations, your capabilities of performing in bed, while it keeps using you to further it’s trafficking schemes.

Why do you think porn sites are free? Where do you think the money comes from if it’s all free? How come you can all sorts of pretend rape, to genuine rape? Or even down right murder?

In 2016-17 ish I don’t exactly remember, I was contacted online by a Muslim who found me in a pro lgb group and sent me a link to an xhamster video of a couple of who I assume lesbanese (from the accent) men putting fire crackers in a gay man’s asshole and litting it up as a threat. You can guess how that ended. How many other videos you are watching are the exact same violence just less visibly?

How many “pseudo rape” videos out there are actually rape? Or corrective rape? Or minors involved? How many of these clips are of victims of domestic violence who have these videos of their rape being puplished without their knowledge?

Anyone who thinks pornography isn’t as evil and we are just prude old hags needs to understand the literal slavery that goes into these sites.

And that’s NOT just free sites either.

Paid for sites and content is still run by abusers and trafficked victims. Many ex porn stars worked for paid membership sites. Not to mention that hyper sexuality is a sign of mental issues. How many of these girls are actually doing it and selling it out of their own choice and not to have food or pay rent? How many of these girls are just used to being sexually exploited and cannot cope in society so the continue this path???

My mom is a very confusing person because on one hand she held me down and let a woman wax my entire body against my well on the other hand she went on a war with her family for wanting to marry me off and then put my dad in prison for a night for hitting me.

I have very confusing feelings about her but to be fully honest I have decided to be thankful and acknowledge reality for what it is, she never wanted children, we were all rape babies. Yet she did what god’s probably couldn’t to protect us and I’m sure it tore her apart having to give up her whole life for kids she didn’t even want.

I’m thankful for what she has done to me, I forgive her for her shortcomings, and I’m sorry that she had to live so miserably. Every single day of her life is a fight where she loses and I can’t imagine the mental toll it’s taken on her.

On the other hand, I have reached the opposite conclusion for my father. Even though from the outside you might think that my father is the better parent, and to a certain degree he is, I simply refuse to forgive him for the hell he put my mother in, and subsequently us. She begged him to not go with the wedding, to not have the kids, to stop attempting to rape her left and right. And I really don’t see why I should forgive him? Because he was on ok parent? Great on you for doing the bare minimum.

I shave now because I was literally held down and forcefully waxed. I was full on kicking and screaming and to avoid that happening again, I just shave. Can you name some examples of a way bi people have systemic power over lesbians? I’m struggling to think of some that aren’t just Interpersonal aggression. Preferably ones bi people can access while still being visibly bi because imo it doesn’t count as a privilege if you have to lie and hide yourself to access it (unless you have a reason this isn’t this case which I would love to hear)

tbh if u think being able to pass as het your entire life and being able to comfortably n happily be in a het marriage and enjoy the privileges het people do.... how exactly do you not have systemic power over lesbians? how is that just interpersonal aggression? also:

most bi people don't find their sexuality particularly important to them, there's probably a reason for that which is that many do get to enjoy social benefits and privileges while still being true to themselves (bc they're not somehow going against themselves by acting on their OSA) that gays & lesbians can only get if we completely reject ourselves and live in misery.

this difference is also especially present in more homophobic regions. it's more or less normal in many middle eastern countries for bi people to be with the same sex before getting married bc it doesn't 'count' in many ppls' eyes (sex before marriage isn't acceptable after all) & then to dump their (usually lesbian/gay) same sex partner once it's time to get married. meanwhile gay people are sometimes forced into het marriages simply to maintain some level of safety and security and when lucky, they find another gay person of the opposite sex to marry and have an arrangement with so they don't get harassed by their family and society for being "single" at an older age. these are only the lucky few, the more bleak and frequent reality is that gay people often have to marry someone of the opposite sex who typically will be totally unaccepting of gay people and live the rest of their lives in fear and trying their best to hide their homosexuality.

considering all of this, i don't understand how anyone can argue that there is no power difference between bi people and gay people. look at the current discourse around homosexuality and the whole sexuality is fluid thing going on... look at who has more sway and power when it comes to the conversations.. who can fit into heterosexual society better and who can blend in more easily.. that without a doubt creates a power difference
