Francis for one didnât count himself as a weak person. Weak person would have given up. Weak person would have died. But he didnât he pushed through and kept going. Little did matter it wasnât just his body that went through immense change. Some would no longer consider Francis a person at all. That, as well, didnât matter to him.
âI admire purposive people,â he nodded when David mentioned he wasnât one to disappoint his fans. That, once again, played right into Francisâs hands - he didnât disappointments very well. In fact, he despised them.Â
âFinding reliable colleagues is struggle I can understand.â Francis was smiling the whole time, his eyes sparkling with amusement. He could appear cold, but when something sparked his interest, he resembled a curious child even though he could barely feel most of emotions after the experiments. âEspecially considering how many of them... go away during the work.â
Francis didnât elaborate until he was completely sure David was in. Instead, he kept nodding in synchronisation with the others words, understanding completely.Â
âHowever in their delusion that theyâre the ones in charge, they can really do harm to oneâs business,â Francis said bitterly, mostly for himself. âI hate those individuals.â
15% with opportunity to grow was more than reasonable, but Francis really needed people that he could count on. That and the fact he barely cared about wealth helped him enwind his most trustworthy allies around his finger. Few friendly visitations and the police no longer pays attention to bundles of people passed out being carried away in the middle of night. Few bucks here and there and the providers of his warehouses close eyes about the type of his trades. Money canât buy you happiness, sure, but Francis wasnât looking for happiness.Â
âWonderful,â Francisâs smile grow and became shinier, although there was still something real lacking in it. âMeet me at Sonyâs warehouse when you are free, I will let you know what kind of work will be needed. You are not going to regret this - I have feeling this cooperation will be a fruitful for both of us.â
Francis put back on his hat, turning around to the door.
âSee you soon, Mysterio.â
