GREEK GODLY PARENT QUIZ
REPOST. DON’T REBLOG. Tagged by: Nobody! Tagging: Anybody that wants to do this!
Result: Hephaestus Qualities: Creativity, ingenuity, inventiveness, resilience, introversion, insecurity, concentration, kindness
Your godly parent is Hephaestus, Blacksmith of the Gods, Lord of the fire, forge and volcanoes.
You are brilliant and ingenuous and are known for building your way out of trouble. Children of Hephaestus love science and technology a lot, and end up with hobbies and careers to evidence this. Not unlike Athena, children of Hephaestus can sometimes be so consumed with their ideas and projects that they can neglect their personal responsibilities. Most of the time however, this detachment from society provides concentration and focus to finish their projects faster, whence they would require a break and get back into the world. You might have a reputation from not building many social attachments, but instead sticking to a few people that understand your quirks. Despite your gruff and calculated exterior, you genuinely get along with many people and you would help people out in a heartbeat. You never forget those who have been kind to you, but you are also not quick to give up on grudges much like children of Hades. You are also underestimated by many of your peers, and only gain their respect after having to prove yourself. When disturbed or disrespected, you can use your skills to hurt people but this is very rare.
//Yeah, I thought I was going to be able to get on this weekend, but I have a test on Tuesday that I feel horrifically under prepared for (despite the fact I’ve been studying super hard), and I have tons of other homework. So consider this blog on a hiatus until I can find time that I don’t feel swamped with homework to get on.

injury/torture starter sentences
“One more word and I’ll break your other arm too.” “I know it hurts, but you’re not alone. I’m here for you.” “Will you please tell me who did this to you?” “Something happened to you while you were gone and if you don’t start talking about it you will only sink further and further into this darkness.” “I know what leaves those scars. I’m sorry. Nobody should have to go through that torture.” “Which do you prefer? Your tongue or your eyes?” “My whole life I’ve been searching for someone willing to endure my torture… Evidently I got impatient.” “You have something I want. Give it to me and I will let you go. It’s that simple.” “Why I’m doing this to you? There is no why… I just like it.” “Don’t cry, darling, I’m still your best friend. This doesn’t change anything.” “Please don’t panic, it’s just a small knife.” “Shut up– SHUT UP! I can’t think with all your screaming!” “You’re dying. Oh my god, you’re dying! That wasn’t supposed to happen!” “If you don’t tell me what’s been happening to you, you leave me no choice but to leave you.” “Why won’t you talk to me about what happened? You’ve had the same blank look in your eyes for weeks.” “Where did that scar come from? You didn’t have that before the holiday, did you?” “I want you to take this knife and make a nice, long cut in your own skin.” “Beg for your life, if you want it. I will spare you if your pleads satisfy me.” “I don’t know whether I’m going to kill you or not. You think I have that much self-control? Ha! You’re cute.” “Tell me what you know and the pain will stop, I promise.”
do you ever dissociate so hard that you’re actually like 99% sure nothing’s real but u just kinda go with it bc you honestly have nothing to lose
//I think eventually Peyton would have to be taken in for mental health at the very least, if not soon then definitely later on. He wasn’t in full capacity after he escaped, and it would have only gotten worse as the years went on. The novels (as far as I know) imply that he was starting to have a rather severe case of schizophrenia even two years after, and he wouldn’t be able to help himself on his own with that. And not only that, but he would still have very deep depression and intense self hatred, not to mention horrifically low self esteem. Combine all of that with the fact that he would still struggle with his rage/emotion issues, and he would be especially dangerous, both to himself and others.
SELF-KNOWLEDGE QUESTIONNAIRE
Stolen from nobody! Take the test here! Repost, don’t reblog!
RATIONALITY
You like clarity and intelligent simplicity and you get frustrated at messy thinking. This can make you seem unreasonably pushy to some, but it is actually a virtue: you are motivated by a horror at pointless effort and a longing for precision and insight into how things and people work. Your ability to synthesize and bring order is essential in producing thinking which is truly helpful.
SHYNESS
Part of you is gripped by the fear that you’ll launch into something and completely mess it up. The upside of this is wise caution: people are indeed often too rash, whereas you know, by instinct, that holding back can save you. Probably, you feel shame and self-disgust a bit too much. But when you do feel in your element, you act with a wisdom and sensitivity never found in people with thicker skins.
ORDERLINESS
You love it when everything is neat and tidy: when there is a proper way of doing things, and you can tick things off the to-do list and know where everything is. So others, at times, are to you unbearably sloppy and messy. And you run into things that can’t be ordered (a child, a partner, a colleague at work) which drives you slightly nuts. But your desire for order is a good one when it is focussed where it is needed and when you’re okay with a bit of mess.
