There is no accounting for the body, or the personal experience of living in one. We constantly find ourselves locked in an effort to create a sense of identity that is more than simply a body in a place. To this end, Georgia Jensen's poems are simple, accessible, and fraught with a confident vulnerability. Their line breaks are heartbreaking at times but we find that they are always necessary. Two of our favorite collaborators dancing together at our first showcase at Intuit Dance. Sam Crouch and Connor Cornelius also performed a multi-generational dance piece at our most recent event there featuring founder Diane Vanderhei. INTUIT Dance is a contemporary dance studio in the heart of the Oak Park Arts District. They teach classes for children, teens and adults that emphasize dance as a human expression and a technical art form.
