House of the Dragon Season 3 premiere

As more episodes come out, I will be more organized on how I review them and itβs been a while and I forgot how to coherently write. Lol οΏΌ
Rhaena was sheepstealer was siiick, I donβt know if it was the designers or what they got from the description from the book, but all the references Iβve seen of the sheep stealer was different with what the TV show went with, but either way it was really interesting to see a wild dragon suddenly bond(ish) with her. I feel like thereβs like obviously a connection already with the Targaryen/bastards of them that instantly has their connection with dragons.
I will say, if Jace wasnβt distracted by her he was a saw that harpoon(?) and he wouldβve been able to dodge it, but I guess they just wanted to make us cry. I do get that he and Baela didnβt know who that was what a fucking random dragon but Rhaena was WAAAAY in over her head.
He just wanted to make his momma proud
Rhaenyra is coming for blood. Iβm still kind of shell shocked about everything. Daeron was way different than what I expected because of the books he has a traditional Targaryen look, but the Hightower genes really took over with him.
Itβs really amazing how we were all really patient about season three because season two ended in 2024 and now itβs 2026β¦ Like damn. This is how we get rewarded I guess.
ALSO DOES LORD CREGAN STARK KNOW HIS HUSBAND IS DEAD?! I cannot wait till he finds out btw.

I do think that Rhaenyra was too quick in believing in Alicent. Like I understand that from when they were younger, they did have this bond, but she at some point does need to let that go because as we saw things can change rapidly and within days. οΏΌ
I very much do see both sides of how Jace handle things with his mother. I understood how he wanted to keep her safe and went behind her back and β pulled command/rankβ I know, queen versus crown heir doesnβt make sense but roll with it. I donβt think there was any greed or wanting to prove himself. But he weirdly is like a mini Daemon. And on the other hand, him wanting to prove himself that he can be tight in command to doing things for his queen. But I donβt think he thought a lot of these things through. Because he probably perceived his mother taking Alicents words to heart And that he saw that she was swayed by them to instantly act. Its was more of a cynical outlook of it and yes, he did have his guard up and I think that was a great thing he did.
I very much think Rhaenyra needed this to finally dive into that Targaryen madness, to finally perceive that words are just that words and actions speak louder than them. May he rest in peace.
And I do finally think that Aegon in a weird way, finally tapped into his β growing a pairβ by the drive of defeating his brother by any means necessary.
What are yβallβs thought about this? Do you think that even though the books have already been written by George RR Martin do you think itβs gonna be a different outcome? Do you think itβs gonna be drastic changes like they did for Game of Thrones?
