Love, I need you to breathe. I need you to let your lungs inhale and exhale peace. I need you to hold on today, tomorrow – forever even though all you want to do is let go. You are worth fighting for. You are worth the painful, at times brutal process of healing, of loving, of finding beauty in the ugliness. Breathe life in. Let light consume you. Let hope and joy find you. You deserve good days, good people, good moments. You are worthy of wholeness and peace. Don’t let go, don’t give up, don’t run away. I’m going to ask you with all the love inside of me to try. Be patient with yourself. Be gentle with the aches, wounds, scars, and fears that cover your insides and outsides. Don’t stop dreaming and praying and wishing for better days. They are yours to have, to relish, to share with other lost and broken souls. Breathe. Try. Live and love your life.
With love,

Okay so there’s app called “emergency chat” and it is amazing! Basically if you are having a meltdown or panic attack or you are in a situation where you are unable to communicate with people around you it takes you to this chat where you can type out what you need to help you! I’ve used it so many times during my anxiety attacks as I am unable to speak, hear or move and it is really helpful! It’s free on the AppStore and easy to set up! You can also change the message that comes up (the one in the picture) to suit your needs etc.! Just thought I’d share that with you because I know some of you might need this 💕💕
this is so relaxing
Here are some apps that help me calm down(:
-Brainwave: uses different frequencies to stimulate different parts of the brain to cause you to feel calmer or sleep better. ($1.99-I think $4.99) -Pacifica: my favorite app; you can listen to meditations, talk in anonymous help groups, track your progress and feelings, keep a journal, and more. (Free but you can subscribe to get more meditations for $3.99/month or $29.99/year) -Naturespace: listen to 3D soundscapes; makes you feel like you are in another world and gives you a lot to focus on. (Free but more tracks are available from $.99-$1.99) -7 Cups: speak to trained listeners anonymously and confidentially. (Free)
When self care feels painful:
Somethings in life are so big and scary that we end up pushing them away. Denial is a normal part of grief. When left unattended to, denial can turn into feeling numb and disconnected from our own feelings and bodies.
When you stop being in denial and you turn towards the event or feeling that you’ve been pushing away, it might hurt. Acknowledging trauma, noticing negative self talk, and being open to yourself may hurt at first - but the pain that comes with self care is also sign that you’re healing. That pain will grow into self knowledge and strength as you learn to take good care of yourself. Be gentle with yourself and give yourself room for all of your feelings. Use your support network and self care resources to support yourself through the ups and downs of your journey. Self care is brave and you’re worth it.
Body check-in
Are you holding stress anywhere in your body that you could let go of, even for just a second?
Check-in ideas: jaw, shoulders, back, hips, ankles, or try a full body scan

I love the rain. I love how it softens the outlines of things. The world becomes softly blurred, and I feel like I melt right into it.
