Winter isn’t her favorite season. It’s too cold, and the daylight slips away far too quickly. She prefers to “hibernate” in her room, curled up with a book in her favorite cozy spot.
For him? He feels the same. Winter is dull, the most boring season of them all. There’s not much to do, after all. But there is one thing he secretly enjoys: the way she always asks for cuddles to stay warm. And, of course, he could never say no to that.
Its a tradition for me to draw them dancing every year, and this year is the fourth one! I love dancing pose so much because its so fun to draw and it feels so romantic for me.. :”D
A little story below!
“We’ve done this every year, but why am I still nervous?” She murmured, pressing a hand to her chest, trying to calm her racing heart.
“Nervous? Really?” a teasing voice echoed. Two mismatched eyes glimmered in the dark, and though they might seem unsettling to others, to her, they felt like home.
“A little,” she admitted softly.
A figure stepped into the moonlight, revealing the Prince Dyrroth’s familiar smirk. “Here,” he said, bowing slightly and extending his hand. “Take this. It might help.”
She hesitated, then stepped forward, placing her hand in his. “And if it doesn’t?”
“You doubt the Prince of the Abyss, who has own-- i mean, known you for years? I know how to make you feel good and what not,” he teased, letting out a low chuckle. “Just trust me. Breathe. You’ve got this.” His other hand gently guided her closer.
The music began, and they moved together, her initial tension melting away with every step. She closed her eyes, letting him lead, until the rhythm carried her completely. When she opened them, He was watching her with that same smirk, his gaze warm and unwavering.
As the final note faded, She broke the silence. “What if next year.. we invite others to join us?”
He chuckled, pulling her closer. “I don’t mind. I do think it's time to show off our dancing skill to others. I bet they'll get jealous~”
Her smile brightened at his approval, and his voice softened to a whisper. “Until next year, Chama.”
