Finally finished my drawing of the [slightly] younger versions of Jules and Derek. ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

I absolutely adore to replicate the SOS/HM GB style as it reminds me of my childhood, tracing over the portraits of the characters in my Nintendo DS and drawing Jules/Ivan over and over again in flipnote ~♡

Honestly I adore this pair so much.

i’m supposed to be working on artfight stuff but i just mentioned in my last post how if felt like the dlc matching outfits for the bachelorettes were just a little too masculine when they should be more androgynous soooo i felt a sudden urge to redesign them #oops

Finally getting back on my Jules/OC bullshit…anyway first date first date first date!!!

Lila opened her mouth to respond, but a loud knock caused her to gasp, and Freya let out an excited squeal. "Ooooh, that must be him! Go, go!" She placed her hands on Lila's shoulders and steered her out of the bedroom, stopping in front of the front door. With her heartbeat roaring in her ears, Lila gulped, glancing back at her friends who were huddled behind her by the bookcase; she smiled when they gave her a thumbs up. Lila took a moment to primp her bangs and smooth down her shirt before finally opening the door.

It was indeed Jules standing there with a hand against his hair; he must have been doing some primping himself. He was wearing his usual attire - understandable, considering Jules was always dressed to the nines - but his hair did look even neater than usual, and the familiar scent of herbal perfume wafted off of him; that brought a smile to Lila's face.

"Good morning Lila-Oh!" Jules started, but he cut himself off. Lila shifted nervously under his wide-eyed gaze; did he think she looked weird?

"Um, g-good morning Jules," she said, her voice quiet, "Is…something wrong?"

Jules blinked rapidly and quickly shook his head. "N-No! Not at all. It's just…you look…beautiful."

Lila made a strangled noise in the back of her throat, and she barely heard Freya's half-whispered 'oh my God' behind her. "Oh, t-thank you. I-I thought I might look weird…"

Jules shook his head, letting out a light chuckle as he scratched at his chin. "Ah, apologies. I was a bit stunned, that's all. I've always thought you were pretty, but seeing you like this took my breath away."

A chorus of 'aws' sounded off behind her, and Lila couldn't help but giggle as she felt her face heat up. "Ah, that's so embarrassing…" she mumbled, but the goofy smile that was plastered on her face betrayed her true feelings.

Clearing his throat, Jules pulled something out from behind his back and held it out to her. "Here, I brought you this." Lila's eyes went wide as she reached out and took the beautiful bouquet of purple flowers.

Tilting her head, she asked, "Lilacs?" When he nodded, Lila squinted as she sifted through her brain for the relevant flower language information that she had read about. She was beaten to it, however, and she glanced over her shoulder when Sophie let out a loud gasp; she was holding her language of flowers book.

"The purity of first love???" Sophie whispered to the other women; Freya and Mina giggled, while June and Diana exchanged a knowing glance with smiles on their faces.

Lila's heart leapt into her throat as she gazed up at Jules with a beaming smile on her face. Jules' face had flushed a bright red, and he placed a hand on his chest and bowed slightly. "I thought they would be fitting for our first date. I…was really looking forward to this day. F-For a long time now."

Feeling like her heart was going to explode, Lila took the time to take a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Wow…Thank you so much! I love them, Jules."

"Truly?"

Lila smiled sweetly and nodded. "Yeah. I'm, um, really excited about our date too." She turned towards the vase sitting beside the door and placed the lilacs inside, beside the flower that was already occupying it; she'd have to buy a new vase at the next bazaar.

Jules leaned over her shoulder and asked, "That flower…"

"Yeah, it's the amaryllis you gave me." Lila answered his silent question, and Jules leaned back and gasped.

"You kept it?"

"Of course I did." Lila wrung her hands together and gazed shyly at the floor. "It was a gift from you, a-and that makes it important to me."

"Lila…"

Lila felt like her eyes were sparkling when they met Jules' again, and her breath hitched when he reached out to take her hand. His was trembling slightly, and Lila couldn't help but feel a bit relieved that he seemed as nervous as she was.

"Man, I'm gonna throw up if I watch anymore of this…"

"June!"
