Aymeric de Borel sighs tiredly as he enters his home. His day was very trying, what with his fellow councilmen being particularly boarheaded with the new policies that were proposed in the Chambers. At this rate the progress he wished to see will take many seasons to see some actual change. And here he was hoping Valentione's Day would be a much calmer affair.
He steps into the foyer as he slips off his armored coat and pauses. Blue flower petals rested on the floor, trailing their way to the bedroom. The exhaustion he felt slipped away as he eagerly rushed to the bedroom.
He didn't realize his love would be home today. She has been away for a particularly long adventure that he had sent a box of chocolates and a letter through Moogle Mail. He had been under the belief she wouldn't be home for the holiday, especially when a similar letter arrived yesterday with the most exotic dress wear he has ever seen.
Aymeric opens the door to the bedroom, a gentle smile spreading across his lips as he sees the blue petals resting on their bed in the form of a heart before trailing away to the bathroom. He wonders how long she's been home to have been able to set this all up. Though he may have to ask after he sees whatever his dearest Flower had planned.
"My dear," Aymeric smiles more as he sees the warrior finish filling the bath with hot water. There were several candles set up as well adding to the romantic feeling.
His Camellia turns to look at him and smiles excitedly, her ears flicking with happiness.
"Hello my lord," she says teasingly as she gets up, walking up to him to wrap her arms around his waist, "happy Valentione's Day."
"And a happy Valentione's Day to you," he kisses the top of her head, "how long have you been back?"
"A couple hours. I heard you were in a meeting today and I decided to set this up. I know how stressing they can be," she lets out a soft purr, the sound growing louder when he rubs her back.
"Oh my sweet flower, you are truly a blessing upon my life," Aymeric softly remarks before he reluctantly pulls away. His dear had went through all this effort so he may as well start to enjoy it.
Camellia smiles at him as she watches him strip and sink into the hot water. Once he's settled she moves to sit behind where he rests and massages his shoulders. A groan slipping past her love's lips as she begins to pamper him.
The lovers once again together made it truly a blessed Valentione's Day.
